THE EFFECT OF A PROPOSED TRAINING PROGRAM USING INTERMITTENT TRAINING TO DEVELOP SOME PHYSICAL AND BIO-KINEMATIC VARIABLES AND ACCURACY OF THE JUMP SPIKE SERVE SKILL IN VOLLEYBALL
...Show More Authors

The purpose of this paper is to identifying the values of some physical and Bio- Kinematic variables during the performance of the jump spike serve skill, and identifying the effect of the proposed training program using intermittent training to develop some physical and Bio- Kinematic variables and accuracy of the jump spike serve skill among the research sample. The experimental method was used and the research was conducted on a deliberately chosen sample of the players of the Army Club, who were primarily advanced in volleyball, and the number of the sample was (10) players. The conclusions were reached that the proposed training program using intermittent training has a positive effect on some of the physical and Bio- Kinematic variables of the advanced volleyball players and that this program has made an improvement in accuracy of the skill, Therefore some recommendations were given, including the use of the intermittent training program to develop some physical and Bio- Kinematic variables because of its positive impact on volleyball players, and the use of intermittent training activities mainly in the special preparation period and the transitional period because of its importance in improving the physical and skill condition of volleyball players Providing sports equipment and tools used in intermittent training in sports clubs to serve the training process for volleyball players.

Manufacture of Feed Protein Concentrates from Local Fish That Are Not Suitable for Consumption
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>The aim of this study is to know the effect of using locally manufactured fishmeal and its nutritional value note that its manufactured from uneconomical local fish are not for human consumption. Cyprinus carpio fed with three different diets levels of locally manufactured fishmeal at a rate of 0.03 and 0.05 of the body weight. For control treatment (C1), the second treatment (C2) and the third treatment (C3). It was found that the C3 was superior to the first two parameters, control (C1) and (C2), in most of the studied standards with a high significance level (P≥0.05). The average final weight of the fish in the third parameter (C3) was 7.75g. The daily growth rate (DGR) of the th</p> ... Show More

Catalytic Conversion of Glucose into 5-hydroxymethyl furfural over Spent Dry Batteries as Catalysts
...Show More Authors

Biomass is a popular renewable carbon source because it has a lot of potential as a substitute for scarce fossil fuels and has been used to make essential compounds like 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF). One of the main components of biomass, glucose, has been extensively studied as a precursor for the production of HMF. Several efforts have been made to find efficient and repeatable procedures for the synthesis of HMF, a chemical platform used in the manufacturing of fuels and other high-value compounds. Sulfonated graphite (SG) was produced from spent dry batteries and utilized as a catalyst to convert glucose to 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF). Temperature, reaction time, and catalyst loading were the variables studied. When dimethyl sulfo

Synthesis of gold nanoparticles by laser ablation on porous silicon for sensing CO2 gas
...Show More Authors

In this research, porous silicon (PS) prepared by anodization etching on surface of single crystalline p-type Si wafer, then Gold nanoparticle (AuNPs) prepared by pulsed laser ablation in liquid. NPs deposited on PS layer by drop casting. The morphology of PS, AuNPs and AuNPs/PS samples were examined by AFM. The crystallization of this sample was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The electrical properties and sensitivity to CO2 gas were investigated to Al/AuNPs/PS/c-Si/Al, we found that AuNPs plays crucial role to enhance this properties.

Synthesis of substituted (oxazepine, Diazepine, tetrazde) via Schiff Bases for 2- Aminobenzo Thaizole Derivatives
...Show More Authors

This work includs synthesis of several Schiff bases by condensation of 6- methoxy – 2- amino benzothiazole with some aldehydes and ketones (2- hydroxyl benzaldehyde, 4- hydroxyl benzaldehyde, 4- N,N –dimethy amino acetophenone, benzophenone) to abtain schiff bases (1-5). These schiff bases were found to react with phthalate anhydride to give oxazepine derivatives (6-10) that were reacted with primary aromatic amines to give Diazepine derivatives (11-15). Besides, we prepared new tetrazole derivatives (16-20) from the reaction of the prepared Schiff bases with sodium azide in the prepared compounds that were characterized by physical properties, FT-IR and some of the 1H-NMR and 13C –NMR spectroscopy.

Theoretical Estimation of Electronic Flow Rate at Al-TiO2 Interfaces System
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>The mechanism of the electronic flow rate at Al-TiO2 interfaces system has been studied using the postulate of electronic quantum theory. The different structural of two materials lead to suggestion the continuum energy level for Al metal and TiO2 semiconductor. The electronic flow rate at the Al-TiO2 complex has affected by transition energy, coupling strength and contact at the interface of two materials. The flow charge rate at Al-TiO2 is increased by increasing coupling strength and decreasing transition energy.</p>

Synthesis of CuO Nanoparticles from Copper(II) Schiff Base Complex: Evaluation via Thermal Decomposition
...Show More Authors

Copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles were synthesized through the thermal decomposition of a copper(II) Schiff-base complex. The complex was formed by reacting cupric acetate with a Schiff base in a 2:1 metal-to-ligand ratio. The Schiff base itself was synthesized via the condensation of benzidine and 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde in the presence of glacial acetic acid. This newly synthesized symmetric Schiff base served as the ligand for the Cu(II) metal ion complex. The ligand and its complex were characterized using several spectroscopic methods, including FTIR, UV-vis, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, CHNS, and AAS, along with TGA, molar conductivity and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The CuO nanoparticles were produced by thermally decomposing the

An Experimental Investigation on Fatigue Properties of AA3003-H14 Aluminum alloy Friction Stir Welds
...Show More Authors

AA3003-H14 aluminum alloy plates were welded by friction stir welding and TIG welding.
Fatigue properties of the welded joints were evaluated based on the superior tensile properties for
FSW at 1500 rpm rotational speed and 80 mm/min welding speed. However, there is not much
information available on effect of welding parameters with evolution of fatigue life of friction stir
welds. The present study experimentally analyzed fatigue properties for base, FSW, and TIG welds
of AA 3003-H14 aluminum alloy. Fatigue properties of FSW joints were slightly lower than the
base metal and higher than TIG welding.

Search for risk haplotype segments with GWAS data by use of finite mixture models

The region-based association analysis has been proposed to capture the collective behavior of sets of variants by testing the association of each set instead of individual variants with the disease. Such an analysis typically involves a list of unphased multiple-locus genotypes with potentially sparse frequencies in cases and controls. To tackle the problem of the sparse distribution, a two-stage approach was proposed in literature: In the first stage, haplotypes are computationally inferred from genotypes, followed by a haplotype coclassification. In the second stage, the association analysis is performed on the inferred haplotype groups. If a haplotype is unevenly distributed between the case and control samples, this haplotype is labeled
