منذ الثلث الأخير من القرن التاسع عشر، انشغلت الولايات المتحدة الأميركية بفكرة تأسيس إطار تنظيمي جامع لدول اميركا اللاتينية، بما يسمح لها في ممارسة الضغط السياسي والاقتصادي والعسكري في النصف الغربي من الكرة الأرضية ويثبت سياستها ، لاسيما مع انسحاب دول الاستعمار الأوربي ( اسبانيا – فرنسا – روسيا – بريطانيا ) . الا ان الفكرة هذه واجهت تحديات كبيرة ، وواكبتها جهود حثيثة بذلتها الولايات المتحدة الأميركية ، في اقناع الدول اللاتينية بجدوى هذه الفكرة واهميتها ، نحو تعزيز تكاملها السياسي والوصول الى التنمية الشاملة في الاقتصاد والاستثمار . آلا أن الصعوبة الأكبر قد برزت في رفض الدول اللاتينية لمشروع تأسيس الجامعة ، وفضلت بدلا عن ذلك انشاء مكتب تجاري لتبادل الإجراءات التنفيذية في مجال تخفيض التعريفة وإزالة الحواجز الكمركية . ومع استمرار عقد المؤتمرات الدولية استمرت الولايات المتحدة في طرح مشروعها ومحاولة اقناع الدول الأميركية ، حتى تم لها ذلك بعد نهاية الحرب العالمية الثانية عام 1945وبدء مرحلة الحرب الباردة . فكان تأسيس جامعة الدول الأميركية عام 1948 تكليلا لجهود الولايات المتحدة وسعيها نحو الوصول الى خلق هذا الاطار المؤسسي التنظيمي لدول أميركا اللاتينية و تحت رعايتها
Educational and psychological adjustment considered to be one of the effective and serious matters at people dealings and behaviors. The current research tackles the self-efficacy and its relation to the cognitive assessment for the daily disturbances for the University of Baghdad students. Two criteria have been adopted to achieve the objectives of the research. The sample of this study consists of 200 male and female students who were chosen randomly. The data were analyzed statistically, revealing that the university students owned their own self-efficacy as well as a cognitive assessment for the daily disturbances and they recognized them as self-threatening.
