Enhancing Motor Competence in Rhythmic Gymnastics: Effects of the Overlapping Waves Strategy in School‐Based Physical Education
...Show More Authors
ABSTRACT
<title>Background

Rhythmic gymnastics offers a context for motor development. This study examined the association between the Overlapping Waves Strategy and traditional instruction in fundamental club skills.

Methods

A cluster‐allocated quasi‐experimental design (16 sessions) was implemented among 64 fifth‐grade female students. Participants received Overlapping Waves Strategy ( n  = 32) or conventional instruction ( n  = 32). Four skills were assessed by certified judges.

Results

Two‐way mixed ANOVA revealed significant group × time interactions (all p  < 0.001). The experimental group exhibited greater pre‐post performance gains than the control group.

Implications for School Health Policy, Practice, and Equity

The strategy provides a structured pedagogical framework for physical education, suggesting potential feasibility, though limited by the specific single‐setting and demographic parameters, and policy recommendations remain premature without broader replication.

Conclusion

Preliminary findings indicate greater short‐term execution of club skills in the experimental classroom. Classroom‐level confounding cannot be excluded. Replication in cluster‐randomized designs with retention measures is required.

The Role of School Administration in Achieving Educational and Learning Goals as Seen by Educational Supervisors in the Stage of Basic Education
...Show More Authors

This study aimed to identify the role of school administration in achieving educational and learning goals from the point of view of educational supervisors in the stage of basic education. The descriptive method was adopted. As for the sample size, it has reached (59) educational supervisors. A questionnaire consisting of 29 paragraphs divided into four areas was used. The data were statistically analyzed on the Chi-square test, the percentage, and the mono-variance analysis. The result showed that the school administration contributes to achieving educational goals. It also works to solve problems in democratic ways, and in modern methods, there are differences in the criteria for choosing the headmaster. The study recommended that sch

The Properties of Thermal Waves Affecting Iraq
...Show More Authors

This research aims at studying each of the cold and hot thermal wavelengths affecting
Iraq for a minimum climatic course of 11 years beginning from 1992 till 2002. Three stations
were selected including the parts of Iraq surface: Mosul, Baghdad and Basrah.
The wave days were also connected with the related climatic elements represented by
the wind direction and speeds and the relative humidity. It was shown that Iraq is affected by
the rates of hot thermal wave lengths greatly compared to the rates of cold wavelengths. The
results suggested that the highest rate of hot and cold wavelengths recorded over Basra station
was (3.5) days for the cold and (5) days for the hot. While the lowest rates was at Mosul
station

Impact of Do It Yourself (DIY) Strategy on Fifth Preparatory School Pupils’ Achievement in Reading Comprehension
...Show More Authors

The primary objective of this study is to examine the effects of a do-it-yourself (DIY) technique on the reading comprehension performance of fifth-grade students in preparatory schools. In order to accomplish the objective of this research, it is posited that a null hypothesis can be established, suggesting that there are no statistically significant disparities between the average scores of the experimental group, which is instructed using a do-it-yourself (DIY) strategy, and the control groups, which are instructed using a prescribed method, in terms of their reading comprehension attainment. Developing a pre- and post-achievement test. Both groups have been equalized&nbsp;in terms of characteristics such as parental educational leve

The aim of this research is to know the effect of two strategies of active learning, the five fingers and traffic signals, on the first grade intermediate level student's achievement and personal intelligence. The research sample was chosen from the Al- Mansour intermediate school for boys, including (101) students divided into three groups chosen randomly which represented the first experimental group (32) students, the second experimental group (34) students, and the control group (33) students. To achieve the research aims, the research prepared a physics achievement test containing (26) items, and a personal intelligence test containing (20) items. The psychometric characteristics, of the tests were checked up the following results were

The Effect of The LEAD Strategy on Teamwork Skills Among Second-Year Middle School Students
...Show More Authors

The current research aims to investigate the impact of the LEAD strategy on teamwork skills among second-year intermediate school students in government day schools. Umm Al-Mu'minin School, affiliated with the First Education Directorate of Al-Koura/Qom Abi Urayb, was intentionally selected as the research site for the academic year (2026- 2025). The researcher selected one of two classes as the experimental group, which studies according to the LEAD strategy, and the other as the control group, which studies according to the traditional method. The two research groups were compared in a number of variables, including (chronological age in months, intelligence test, prior knowledge, and a teamwork skills scale). The results showed that the
