يتضمن هذا البحث الكشف عن أهم الأسباب العامة لظهور الإلحاد، ثم دراسة ميدانية تحليلية لظاهرة الإلحاد في المدارس الاعدادية في محافظة بغداد وبيان اسبابها وتداعياتها واقتراح حلول لها من خلال التوصيات وايصالها الى الجهات المعنية بغية معالجتها، والوقوف دون انتشار هذه الظاهرة الخطيرة على المجتمع. والاستبانة تعد عملاً اكاديمياً جديداً من نوعه في الدراسات الاسلامية، وقد اخترنا أن يكون هذا الاحصاء في محافظة بغداد
