From different hospitals in Baghdad city, 25 clinical isolates of Proteus spp. were collected from different clinical samples, all isolates were identified as Proteus mirabilis by using bacteriological and biochemical assays in addition to Vitek-2 identification system. 15 (60%) isolates were identifying as Proteus mirabilis. In the present study, new five polymers of acryloyl chloride have been synthesized by reaction 4-aminoantipyrine with many substituted acid chloride (A-E). Then condensation of polyacryloyl chloride with the product in one step (A-E), in a suitable solvent in the presence amount of (Et3N) to obtain new polyimides(A1-E5). The prepared compounds were characterized by UV. FT-IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectroscopy and measuring of other physical properties such as softening point, melting point and solublities.

Urine samples had been gathered from females living in Baghdad city. The sample consisted of 30 females who suffered from U.T.I (Urinary tract infections) and 20 healthy females. The type of urine U.T.I was specified by the emergency lab in Al-Kindy hospital, and alpha tracks were determined by the nuclear track detector CR-39. The concentrations of alpha in 30 urine samples taken from females who had U.T.I ranged from 0.327ppm-1.583ppm, with an average of 0.94965 ppm. In this research the hard chromium electroplating process, which is one of the common methods of overlay coating was used, by using chromium acid as source of chromium and sulphuric acid as catalyst since the ratio between chromic acid and sulphuric acid is (100 : 1) consequently. Plating process was made by applying current of density (40 Amp / dm²) and the range of solution temperature was (50 – 55^oC) with different time periods (1-5 hr). Intrinsic viscosities have been studied for polyethylene oxide in water which has wide industrial applications. The polyethylene oxide samples had two different structures, the first one was linear and covers a wide range of molecular weight of 1, 3, 10, 20, 35, 99, 370, 1100, 4600, and 8000 kg/mol and the second one was branched and had molecular weights of 0.55 and 40 kg/mol.
Intrinsic viscosities and Huggins constants have been determined for all types and molecular weights mentioned above at 25ºC using a capillary viscometer. The values of Mark-Houwink parameters (K and a) were equal to 0.0068 ml/g and 0.67 respectively, and have not been published for this range of molecular weight in as yet.

Um-Al-Naaj region in Al-Hawiezah Marsh, Southern Iraq was chosen to study the environmental variations of some water characteristics during 2008, seasonally. The results showed clear seasonal changes in values of some environmental variables (temperature, depth, light penetration, turbidity, total suspended solids, pH, dissolved oxygen, reactive phosphate, reactive nitrite, and reactive nitrate), while there were no clear seasonal changes in electrical conductivity and salinity values. Pyrolysis of high density polyethylene (HDPE) was carried out in a 750 cm3 stainless steel autoclave reactor, with temperature ranging from 470 to 495° C and reaction times up to 90 minute. The influence of the operating conditions on the component yields was studied. It was found that the optimum cracking condition for HDPE that maximized the oil yield to 70 wt. % was 480°C and 20 minutes. The results show that for higher cracking temperature, and longer reaction times there was higher production of gas and coke. Furthermore, higher temperature increases the aromatics and produce lighter oil with lower viscosity.

The aim of the present study was to isolated the Enterococcus spp. from milk samples of cow and vaginal swabs from aborted women and patient women in Baghdad during September 2016 to april 2017. All 100 milk sample collecting was carried out on California Mastitis Test (CMT) and the positive Percentage of CMT reactions was 5% and the percentage of Enterococcus isolates from mastitic milk was 60% and 30% from nonmasitic milk.
