The present study aims at scrutinizing the impoliteness types, causes, and purposes utilized by Iraqi English language learners when refusing marriage proposals. Thus, it attempts to answer the questions: (1) what are the impoliteness formulas used by the Iraqi learners of English in refusing marriage proposals?, and (2) What are their impoliteness triggers/causes and the purposes? The study is significant in bridging the gap that few linguistic types of research concentrate on studying intentionality and emotions allied with impoliteness. Pomegranate peels were used to remove zinc, chromium and nickel from industrial wastewater. Three forms of these peels (fresh, dried small pieces and powder) were tested under some environmental factors such as pH, temperature and contact time.
The obtained results showed that these peels are capable of removing zinc, chromium and nickel ions at significant capacities. The powder of the peels had the highest capability in bioremoving all zinc, chromium and nickel ions while dried peels had the lowest capacity again for all metals under test. Twenty-seven S. aureus isolates were obtained from patients referring various hospitals in Baghdad. Only 17 isolates produced DNase. SNase was extracted and purified from Saphylococcus aureus 3 isolate since it produces the largest zone of clearance on DNase agar. Nevertheless, only those phenotypically-producer of DNase harboured nuc gene. Present study revealed that the crude enzyme had a specific activity of 50.66 unit/mg; while it reached 241 unit/mg after ion exchange chromatography using carboxymethyl cellulose column.
