Genetic Diversity and Polymorphism of Eucalyptus L՚He҆r Speciesby ITS Sequence
...Show More Authors

Genus Eucalyptus belongs to the family Myrtaceae that consists of more than 700 species, various hybrids and varieties. The majorly distributed species that are grown in Iraq are Eucalyptus alba, E. macarthurii, E. siderophloia and E. camaldulensis, E. tereticornis, E. vicina. Most Eucalyptus species are highly dependent on rainfall, and this is challenged by climatic changes owing to global warming making it difficult to effectively match the availability of mature trees and the market demand, especially for use as power transmission poles. With the widespread availability of other naturally occurring Eucalyptus species, it has become important to determine the genetic diversity and to analyze the phenotypic tra

Isolation and Identification of Anthraquinones Extracted From Morinda Citrifolia L. (Rubiaceae)
...Show More Authors

The purpose of the study was to isolate the anthraquinone fractions from the fruit, leaves and roots of Morinda citrifolia. Anthraquinones extracts from the fruit, leaves and roots of M. citrifolia exhibited six red bands for the fruit, five for the leaves and four for the roots under UV light at wavelength 245 nm and 356 nm exhibited strong absorption bands at 3408.83, 3275.52 and 3308.88 cm-1 for anthraquinone extract from the fruit, leaves and roots of M. citrifolia respectively identified by O-H stretching. C-H stretching groups were detected at the bands 2954.74 and 2857.38 cm-1 (fruit), 2928.13 cm-1 (leaf), 2922.31cm-1 and 2852.95 cm-1 (root). The C=O group of M. citrifolia fruit were detected at the band 1726.27 cm-1, leaves at 1600.

Determination of the Optimum Conditions for Removal of Congo Red Dye by Peroxidase Enzyme Plant
...Show More Authors

The pollution producing from textile industries effluents is growing since the years, due to at discharged lots of it in water without treatment. The resulting effluent is colourful, highly toxic, and poses a significant environmental hazard. This problem can be solved by using enzymic biological treatment, where the Congo red dye was used with concentrations (100,200,300,500) mg /L, pH values (3,4,5,6,7,8), and variable temperatures (25,35,45)°C, the best removal of Congo red (CR) dye  under optimum conditions for degradation was at  concentration of 100 mg/L, at (pH 6, 25 °C) with efficiency of 99.85 % using the peroxidase enzyme extracted from red radish plant, while the removal percentage decreased when increase dye concentration

The Construction of a National Identification in the Novel of N. Scott Momaday House Made of Dawn
...Show More Authors

The United States government allowed Native Americans to abandon their reservations in the 1950s and 1960s. The historical, social, and cultural backgrounds shaped the forms and themes of works by American Indian writers who urged people to refuse their culture's sense of shame. Moreover, their behavior corresponded with the restoration of individuals to their rituals after disappointment, loss of sense of life, and mental illness performed from the influence of mainstream American society. Among these writers, N. Scott Momaday and Leslie Marmon Silko participate in similar interest in portraying characters caught between indigenous beliefs and white mainstream standards.

Synthesis, Antibacterial and Antifungal Activities for Novel Derivatives of 2,2'-(((1-benzylbenzoimidazol-2-yl)methyl)azanediyl)bis(ethan-1-ol)
...Show More Authors

The compound 2,2'-(((1H-benzo(d)imidazol-2-yl)methyl)azanediyl)bis(ethan-1-ol) was reacted with benzyl bromide to afford compound (1) which used as row material to prepare a series of compounds through condensation reaction, the starting compound were reacted with tosyl chloride to protect the OH group  to afford compound 2, then reacted benzyl bromide to produce compound (2), then the compound (2) treated with three compounds ( 2-mercaptobenzthiazole, 2-mercaptobenimidazol and 2-chloromethyl benzimidazole) to form compounds 3a,b, 4a,b and 5a,b respectively. In the another step the click reaction of compound 2,2'-(((1H-benzo(d)imidazol-2-yl)methyl)azanediyl)bis(ethan-1-ol) with Propargyl bromide produce compound  6  which reacted

Implementing a novel approach an convert audio compression to text coding via hybrid technique
...Show More Authors

Compression is the reduction in size of data in order to save space or transmission time. For data transmission, compression can be performed on just the data content or on the entire transmission unit (including header data) depending on a number of factors. In this study, we considered the application of an audio compression method by using text coding where audio compression represented via convert audio file to text file for reducing the time to data transfer by communication channel. Approach: we proposed two coding methods are applied to optimizing the solution by using CFG. Results: we test our application by using 4-bit coding algorithm the results of this method show not satisfy then we proposed a new approach to compress audio fil
