In this paper, Activated Carbon was successfully prepared from local Iraqi material namely corns stalks .Zinc chloride ZnCl2 was used as activating agent with different concentrations (20%, 40%, 60%) for 72 hours. followed by carbonization at 450 C for (2) hour. UV-Spectrophotometer used for measuring absorbance of methylene blue solutions before and after adsorption. the maximum amount adsorbed for methylene blue material of the prepared activated Carbon was studied by Langmuir adsorption isotherm. Other characteristics of the resulting activated Carbon also discussed, such as pH, Moisture Content and ash content. The Web Design Quality Index, known as WDQI, was applied to assess the quality of websites for six Iraqi universities, namely Basra University, Mosul, Muthanna, Samarra, Dijla University College, and Al-Isra University College. The results of the index showed that the universities of Basra and Dijla University College had the highest value, at 71.07 and 70.39, respectively. Its final evaluation metric was that the website of these two universities needed a slight improvement. As for the rest of the other universities, the final values of the index ranged from 64.72-69.71. Eighty five samples were taken from patients suffering from pneumonia. Seventy-eight isolates were diagnosed as following: Staphylococcus aureus (23), klebsiella pneumoniae (29), Streptococcus pneumoniae (15), Serratia sp. The effect of different doses of gamma rays that emitted from 60Co on the development of different stages of lesser grain borer Rhyzopertha dominica (Fab.) was investigated . The results showed that the eggs in both early (1-3 days) and late (7-9) old were very sensitive to gamma rays and its hatch was zero at 10 Gy for both ages in comparison with 83.3% for the control group.
