Summary of the researchThe style of playing in basketball, represented by the performance of complex movements as a result of the rapid movement and changing positions is one of the advantages of this game, which adds beauty and excitement to this game, so it was necessary for players to use forms of mobility and complex skills mixed with precision and speed, In the attack to overcome the difficult positions defenders are trying to impose on the attacking team.Complex offensive skills in basketball are difficult skills that a player can not easily perform so they need to be specially trained to handle those situations so that the player can use them in difficult situations.The research community represented a sample of Baghdad players for the basketball teams and for the sports season (2017-2018) for the ages of (16) years of (70) players, and they were deliberately chosen to be all players from the city of Baghdad. After obtaining the results and processing them statistically, Conclusions: 1. Test procedures for complex offensive skills for young people under 16 years of age have been standardized. 2. Standards (standard reference) were determined for the results of the composite offensive skills test.

Safe drinking water is essential for the present and future generations' health. This study aims to assess drinking water quality in Baghdad's Al-Rusafa neighborhood. Water samples were taken from 32 neighborhoods on this side. The quality of the examined potable water samples differed depending on the water source. This investigation's pH, chlorine, EC, TDS, TSS, Cd, and Pb levels were below acceptable ranges. TDS levels in Al-Mada'in are more significant than acceptable (>600ppm) water levels. The toxicity effect of some heavy metals (Lead, Cadmium, Copper, and Zinc) on the growth of alga Scenedesmus dimorphus which belongs to the Division of Chlorophyta was studied and depended on the total cell number . The growth rate and doubling time were also calculated accordingly in present of absent of the the heavy metals . There were differences in toxic effects of the metals (p<0.05) . The growth was decreased gradually with alga when exposured to Lead at 15,20 and 25 mg/l in comparison with the control , mean while 30 mg/l caused an acute decrease in growth . In this work, MWCNT in the epoxy can be prepared at room temperature and thickness (1mm) at different concentration of CNTs powder. Optical properties of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) reinforced epoxy have been measured in the range of (300-800)nm. The electronic transition in pure epoxy and CNT/epoxy indicated direct allowed transition. Also, it is found that the energy gap of epoxy is 4.1eV and this value decreased within range of (4.1-3.5)eV when the concentration of CNT powder increased from (0.001-0.1)% respectively.

Unsaturated soil can raise many geotechnical problems upon wetting and drying resulting in swelling upon wetting and collapsing (shrinkage) in drying and changing in the soil shear strength.
