THE ROLE OF IRAQI SATELLITE TV TOWARDS A CULTURE OF PROTEST AND REMONSTRATION

The research dealt with a topic that has been practiced and transmitted news in satellite channels in recent years a lot. That is to say the role of satellite channels in the culture of a protest. In general, this study aims to reach to know the extent of the impact of television, especially the impact of the programs that bear the contents of protest and remonstration on the public; and what can be resulted out of these programs as cognitive, emotional and behavioral effects as a result of the individual's exposure to these programs and their impact from the culture of pretense. In addition to that, the research was interested in explaining the role of Iraqi satellite channels in developing and cultivating such culture; and following up what is incoming changing, modifying or developing new directions. All of that was implemented an application of the approaches of my theory (relying on the media) and (cultural planting). This is done through conducting survey studies on the audience of the city of Baghdad, the center, with a specific number of 817. 50 individuals were excluded because they did not watch the programs of Iraqi satellite channels regarding the issues of the protest and remonstration.

News in Brief and Their Role in Public Understanding of News Content in Iraqi Satellite TV

News feeds are at the forefront of news forms that are close to the public's attention for their rapid news content in two directions:

  1. its speed in summarizing events in one or two sentences easy to be understood and realized.
  2. highlight the most important contents of screenings or news broadcast.

Cities of Lebanon from "Planning to Congestion Towards a "flexible mobility culture

This paper examines the change in planning pattern In Lebanon, which relies on vehicles as a semi-single mode of transport, and directing it towards re-shaping the city and introducing concepts of "smooth or flexible" mobility in its schemes; the concept of a "compact city" with an infrastructure based on a flexible mobility culture.
