Two-dimensional Crystallization of Silica nanospheres using Coplanar DC Electric field
...Show More Authors

Abstract:Two-dimensional crystal has been achieved and controlled with the aid of DC electric field applied between two electrodes at 5 millimeters separating distance between them. Sol-gel method has been used to prepared nanosilica particle which used in this work as well as TiO2 nanopaowder. The assembly of the silica particles is due to the interaction between the electrical force, the particles dipole, and the interaction between the particles themselves. When a DC voltage is applied, the particles accumulated and crystallized on the surface between the electrodes. The Light diffraction demonstrates that the hexagonal crystal is always oriented with one axis along the direction of the field. The particles disassemble when the field is turned off, and the process can be repeated many times. The diffraction patterns from all consecutively formed crystals are identical. This assembly is driven by forces that depend on the electric field gradient; the process can be controlled via the external field strength, and the viscosity of the liquid media

Some Statistical Characteristics Depending on the Maximum Variance of Solution of Two Dimensional Stochastic Fredholm Integral Equation contains Two Gamma Processes
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we find the two solutions of two dimensional stochastic Fredholm integral equations contain two gamma processes differ by the parameters in two cases and equal in the third are solved by the Adomain decomposition method. As a result of the solutions probability density functions and their variances at the time t are derived by depending upon the maximum variances of each probability density function with respect to the three cases. The auto covariance and the power spectral density functions are also derived. To indicate which of the three cases is the best, the auto correlation coefficients are calculated.

Optical Properties of Manufactured Mirrors Using DC Plasma Magnetron Sputtering Technique
...Show More Authors

This paper defines a method for sputtering high strength, extremely conductive silver mirrors on glass substrates at temperatures ranging from 20o to 22o C. The silver coated layer thicknesses in this work ranges from 7.5 to 16.1 nm using sputtering time from 10 to 30 min at power 25 W, 13.7 to 29.2 nm for time 10 to 30 min at 50 W, 15.7 to 26.4 nm for time 10 to 30 min at 75 W and 13.8 to 31.1 nm for time 10 to 30 min at 100 W. The optimum values of pressure and electrode gape for plasma sputtering system are 0.1 mbar and 5 cm respectively. The effect of DC sputtering power, sputtering duration or (sputtering time), and thickness on optical properties was investigated using an ultraviolet-visible spectrophot

Control the deposition uniformity using ring cathode by DC discharge technique
...Show More Authors

Simulation of direct current (DC) discharge plasma using
COMSOL Multiphysics software were used to study the uniformity
of deposition on anode from DC discharge sputtering using ring and
disc cathodes, then applied it experimentally to make comparison
between film thickness distribution with simulation results. Both
simulation and experimental results shows that the deposition using
copper ring cathode is more uniformity than disc cathode

Spectroscopic Analysis of DC-Nitrogen Plasma Produced using Copper Electrodes
...Show More Authors

This study shows the effects of copper material electrode, applied voltage, and different pressure values on electrical discharge plasma. The purpose of the work is the application of the spectral analysis method to obtain accurate results of nitrogen plasma parameters. By using the optical emission spectroscopy (OES), many N2 molecular spectra peaks appeared in the range from 300 to 480 nm. Also, some additional peaks were recorded, corresponding to atomic and ionic lines for nitrogen, target material, and hydrogen, in all samples. The electron density (ne) was calculated from the measurement of Stark broadening effect, which was found to decrease with increasing pressure from 0.1 mba

Some Results on The Complete Arcs in Three Dimensional Projective Space Over Galois Field
...Show More Authors

The aim of this paper is to introduce the definition of projective 3-space over Galois field GF(q), q = pm, for some prime number p and some integer m.

Also the definitions of (k,n)-arcs, complete arcs, n-secants, the index of the point and the projectively equivalent arcs are given.

Moreover some theorems about these notations are proved.

Design and Fabrication of an Electromechanical Tester to Perform Two-dimensional Tensile Testing for Flexible Materials
...Show More Authors

There are many diseases that affect the arteries, especially those related to their elasticity and stiffness, and they can be guessed by estimating and calculating the modulus of elasticity. Hence, the accurate calculation of the elastic modulus leads to an accurate assessment of these diseases, especially in their early stages, which can contribute to the treatment of these diseases early. Most of the calculations used the one-dimensional (1D) modulus of elasticity. From a mechanical point of view, the stresses to which the artery is subjected are not one-dimensional, but three-dimensional. Therefore, estimating at least a two-dimensional (2D) modulus of elasticity will necessarily be more accurate. To the knowledge of researchers, there i

Dehydration of Ethanol Using Pervaporation Separation with Nanoporous Hydrophilic Silica Ceramic Membrane
...Show More Authors

The pervaporation using a commercial hydrophilic ceramic membrane supplied from PERVATECH was conducted. The dehydration of ethanol/ water system was used as a model for the pervaporation study. Pervaporation experiments of ethanol/water system were carried out in the temperature range of 303-343K, ethanol concentration in the feed 10-90 vol. % and the feed flow rate in the range of 0.5-10 L/min.  In this work, the effect of operation parameters on permeates fluxes as well as permeates separation factors have been studied. The Water flux is strongly dependent on the temperature; it increased with increasing in temperature, which in turn decreased the selectivity of membrane to water molecules.

In addition water flux was decr
