 Metal cutting processes still represent the largest class of manufacturing operations. Turning is the most commonly employed material removal process. This research focuses on analysis of the thermal field of the oblique machining process. Finite element method (FEM) software DEFORM 3D V10.2 was used together with experimental work carried out using infrared image equipment, which include both hardware and software simulations. An analytical model in the form of a hyperbolic function has been suggested for the axial potential distribution of an electrostatic einzel lens. With the aid of this hyperbolic model the relative optical parameters have been computed and investigated in detail as a function of the electrodes voltage ratio for various trajectories of an accelerated charged-particles beam. This research deals with processing and Interpretation of Bouguer anomaly gravity field, using two dimensional filtering techniques to separate the residual gravity field from the Bouguer gravity map for a part of Najaf Ashraf province in Iraq. 3D seismic reflection structural study of (250) km² of Balad Oil field located in central part of Iraq within Salah Al-din province (Balad area) was carried out.
Faults were picked using instantaneous phase attribute of seismic sections and variance attribute of seismic time slices across 3D seismic volume.
