Christianity rejected abortion, since its inception, it took a luck against abortion, although there is no mention of it in the Bible, as there is no explicit text for abortion in the Old or New Testament and that the early Christians considered abortion a sin in all stages, and beliefs included abortion as an act of murder. What is forbidden in the Ten Commandments is “Thou shalt not kill”, and it is understood that killing here is either plundering one’s personal life (suicide) or stealing another person’s life (killing), or stealing the life of a person who has not yet been born (aborting fetuses). Based on the above, it was necessary for individuals to search for (Abortion in the Christian Religion / Descriptive Study) The research was divided into an introduction and two topics, the introduction describes the meaning of abortion in language and convention, while the first topic was devoted to studying abortion from the perspective of the Christian religion and the position of the church fathers, and the second study was devoted to studying the legitimacy of the rule of abortion in our besieged world And the opinion of its supporters and the response to them, preceded by an introduction and followed by a conclusion, and a list of sources and references.
Poetry is regarded an interesting area of inquiry in linguistic studies due to its eccentric and aesthetic use of language. A lot of studies have been carried out so far for the analysis of poetry, yet few have dealt with pastoral poetry. The present research attempts to investigate the language of pastoral poetry in two different languages i.e. English and Arabic with the aim of finding similarities and differences. In this study water-soluble N-Acetyl Cysteine Capped-Cadmium Telluride QDs (NAC/CdTe nanocrystals) using N-acetyl cysteine as a stabilizer were prepared to investigate the utility of quantum dots (QDs) in distinguishing damaged DNA, (extracted from blood samples of leukaemia patients), from intact DNA (extracted from blood samples of healthy individuals) to be used for biosensing application. Based on the optical characterization of the prepared QDs, the XRD results revealed the formation of the NAC-CdTe-QDs with a grain size of 7.1nm. Show MoreIn this research the specific activity of natural radionuclides 226Ra, 232Th and 40K were determined by sodium iodide enhanced by thallium NaI(TI) detector and assessed the annual effective dose in Dielac 1 and 2 and Nactalia 1 and 2 for children of less than 1 year which are available in Baghdad markets. The specific activity of 40K has the greater value in all the types which is in the range of allowed levels globally that suggested by UNSCEAR. The mean value of annual effective doses were 2.92, 4.005 and 1.6325 mSv/y for 226Ra, 232Th and 40K respectively.
