SUMMARY. – Absorption, flourescence, quantum yield and lifetime of rhodamine B in chloroform, methanol and dimethyl sulfoxide were measured. A comparison was done of these quantities with those for solid solutions, which are obtained by mixing constant volume proportions of dye at a concentration of 1×10–4M/l with different volume proportions from the concentrated solution of polymer in chloroform and dimethyl sulfoxide. The results showed that the addition of polymer to liquid concentrated solutions (1×10–4M/l) of rhodamine B dye from expecting, which leads to development of active medium for laser dye at high concentration, increase the spectra shift toward high energies, and the luminescence quantum yield but decreasing radiative lifetime

Abstract: This study aims to investigate the effects of solvents of various polarities on the electronic absorption and fluorescence spectra of RhB and Rh6G. The singlet‐state excited dipole moments (me) and ground state dipole moments (mg) were estimated from the equations of Bakshiev -Kawski and Chamma‐ Viallet using the variation of Stokes shift along with the solvent’s dielectric constant (e) and refractive indexes (n). In this paper, some basic notions and facts in the b-modular space similar to those in the modular spaces as a type of generalization are given. For example, concepts of convergence, best approximate, uniformly convexity etc. And then, two results about relation between semi compactness and approximation are proved which are used to prove a theorem on the existence of best approximation for a semi-compact subset of b-modular space.
A solid Phase Extraction (SPE) cartridges followed by HPLC-UV method is described for the simultaneous quantitative determination of benzidine (BZ) and its substituted 3, 3’-dichlorobenzidine (DCB) and 3, 3’-Dimethylbenzidine (DMB). The concept of -closedness, a kind of covering property for topological spaces, has already been studied with meticulous care from different angles and via different approaches. In this paper, we continue the said investigation in terms of a different concept viz. grills. The deliberations in the article include certain characterizations and a few necessary conditions for the -closedness of a space, the latter conditions are also shown to be equivalent to -closedness in a - almost regular space. All these and the associated discussions and results are done with grills as the prime supporting tool.
