This study outlines the synthesis of substituted 1,2,4-triazole derivatives through the cyclization reaction of thiourea derivatives. The process begins with the reaction of different halides with KSCN to produce isothiocyanate derivatives. then followed by a reaction with isonicotinic acid hydrazide to yield thioureas (1-6), with a yield rate of (72-88%). Then, compounds (1-6) were treated with alkaline medium 4 N (NaOH) to produced 1,2,4-triazole derivatives (7-12) with a yield (51-69%).The structure of the prepared compounds was characterized using FTIR,1HNMR and 13CNMR spectroscopy. Some of the synthesized compounds were tested for antimicrobial activity when, compound 9 showed strong activity against gram positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis) and moderate activity against gram negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae) compared with drug ciprofloxacin. Also, examined compounds showed strong inhibition against (candida albicans) except compound 10 showed weak activity. Furthermore, the molecular docking was studied by Gold suite to examining the reaction between target compounds and active binding section of GABA-AT protein was the PLP fitness values of the docking compounds on GABA-AT ranged (57.71-67.55).
The work includes synthesis of 1,2,3-triazoles via click conditions and using the microwave irradiation starting from two synthesized azides: 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-β-D-glucopyranosyl azide (5) and perfluorobutylethyl azide (10) and different terminal alkynes. It also includes microwave enhanced synthesis of tetrazoles via the reaction of two synthesized azides i.e., perfluorobutylethyl azide (10) and 1,5-diazidopentane (13) with benzoyl cyanide. Most of the prepared compounds have been characterized by: TLC, FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, LC-MS and microelemental analysis
In this study new derivatives of Schiff bases 5-8, 1, 3-oxazepine 9-16 and tetrazoles 17-19 have been synthesized from the new starting material 1 which has synthesized the reaction of one mole of dichloro acetic acid and two moles of thiophenol, the esters 2-3 were synthesized from the reaction of compound 1 with methanol or ethanol respectively in the presence of H2SO4 as catalyst then 2, 2-dithiophenylaceto Hydrazide 4 were synthesized from the reaction of 2 or 3 with hydrazine hydrate 80%, Schiff bases 5-8 were synthesized from the reaction of 4 with appropriate aldehyde or ketone. Treatment of Schiff bases with maleic and phathalic anhydride in dry benzene to give 1, 3-oxazepen derivatives 9-16 and with sodium azide in tetrahydrofuran

The produced polymers were characterized by different analyses FTIR, 1HCNMR, XRD, DSC and TGA. Solubility in water as well as many solvent was investigated, antibacterial activity of chitosan and its derivatives against two types of bacteria E. coli and S. aureus was also investigated. The results showed that derivatives sort of have antibacterial activities against Esherichia coli (Gram negative) better than chitosan whilst compound IX has better antibacterial against Staphylococcus aureus (Gram positive). Show MoreSolar energy has significant advantages compared to conventional sources such as coal and natural gas, including no emissions, no need for fuel, and the potential for installation in a wide range of locations with access to sunlight. In this investigation, heterocyclic derivatives were synthesized from several porphyrin derivatives (4,4',4",4"'-(porphyrin-5,10,15,20-tetrayl) tetra benzoic acid) compound (3), obtained by reaction Pyrrole with 4-formyl benzoic acid. Subsequently, porphyrin derivative-component amides 5a, 5b, and 5c were produced by reacting compound (3) with amine derivatives at a 1:4 molar ratio. These derivatives exhibited varying sensitivities for utilization in solar cells, with compound 5a displaying the highest power
