The study aims to evaluate sustainable traffic management strategies for congested intersections in medium-sized Iraqi cities, with a focus on Al-Sa’a Intersection and Al-Jari Street in Hit City. These nodes face severe traffic congestion, delays, and infrastructure limitations that compromise urban mobility and sustainability. A multi-criteria evaluation (MCE) framework was employed to analyze three categories of interventions—engineering, planning, and administrative—based on five weighted criteria: traffic efficiency (40%), delay reduction (25%), cost (20%), environmental impact (10%), and social acceptance (5%). The methodology combined field data collection (traffic counts, travel time, and delays), GIS-based spatial analysis, and stakeholder consultation to prioritize solutions and evaluate performance. The findings indicated that all proposed solutions improved traffic performance, but varied in scope and impact. Engineering solutions, such as street widening and grade separation, reduced congestion by up to 40%. Planning measures, including public transport enhancement and alternative routes, scored the highest (8.2/10) due to their long-term sustainability and balanced environmental impact. Administrative actions—optimized signal timing and truck regulation—offered low-cost, short-term improvements. The study demonstrates the value of integrated, GIS-supported, multi-criteria approaches in diagnosing and addressing urban traffic challenges in secondary cities. A phased implementation strategy is recommended: initiate with administrative measures, transition to planning-based interventions, and apply engineering upgrades where necessary. The framework can support future transport planning in similar urban contexts across Iraq. © 2025 The authors. Abstract :H.pylori is an important cause of gastric duodenal disease, including gastric ulcers, Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT), and gastric carcinoma. biosensors are becoming the most extensively studied discipline because the easy, rapid, low-cost, highly sensitive, and highly selective biosensors contribute to advances in next-generation medicines such as individualized medicine and ultrasensitive point-of-care detection of markers for diseases. Five of ten patients diagnosed with H.pylori ranging in age from 15–85 participated in this research. who [gastritis, duodenitis, duodenal ulcer (DU), and peptic ulcer (PU)] Suspected H.pylori colonies w

Radiation found everywhere around us and it comes from many different sources naturally or man-made sources. In this study a questionnaire was distributed to people working in the field of X-rays that used for a medical imaging (X-ray and CT-scan) to evaluate the extent of awareness and knowledge in estimate the damage of ionizing radiation as a result of wrong use. The questionnaire was distributed to medical clinics in Al-Harithiya in Baghdad, which it’s considered as
Background: Neonatal septicemia is a major health problem in developing countries furthermore data on bacteriological profile in early onst sepses (EOS) and late neonatal sepsis (LOS) are lacking in context of continuous change in bacteriological profile and increasing resistant strains. Objectives: The study done to determine the pattern of organisms implicated in neonatal septicemia in a neonatal care unit and to measure the degree of bacterial resistance to some antibiotics.
Type of the study : cross –sectional study.
Methods: Confirmed cases of neonatal septicemia admitted at Al-Alwyia pediatric teaching hospital for the period from January 20

Background: Ear infections can manifest in many forms depending on site of infection whether external, middle or internal ear and the culprit pathogen whether viral, bacterial or fungal. Acute middle ear infections are usually accompanied by aural discharge. Objective: 1. To get an overview on the bacterial pathogens involved in ear infections. 2. To assess the antibiotic resistance of bacterial pathogens. Methods: A cross sectional study conducted in Al-Kindy Teaching Hospital / Baghdad /Iraq. Swabs taken from 225 patients suffering from aural discharge were tested for culture and sensitivity for the duration of two years 2018-2019. Aural discharge is cultured by inoculating it into blood, MacConkey agar, chocolate agars and Sabou

This article presents an analysis of the images of women in the poetry of Valery Bryusov and Badr Shakir Al-Sayyab. The image of a woman has always been glorified, from ancient times to modern works of art. The article examines which images of women are presented in the lyrical works of the authors. To address this issue, we focused on the images of symbolism presented in the descriptions of women from different cultures — Russian and Iraqi. Also presented are images of the “traditional” woman in the cultural and historical era in which the authors in question publish
