This study examined the effects of water scarcity on rural household economy in El Fashir Rural Council / North Darfur State- western Sudan. Both quantitative and qualitative methods were used as to get a deeper understanding of the impact of water scarcity on the rural house economy in the study area. 174 households out of 2017 were selected from 45 villages which were distributed in eight village councils forming the study area. Molecular interactions between 2-isopropenylnaphthalene-methacrylic acid (IPNMA) block copolymer( as a model for water- soluble polymer) and methanol at several temperatures were studied using fluorescence techniques , Fluorescence spectrum for (IPNMA) exhibits two emission bands at around 342 nm and 387 nm corresponding to the monomer and the excimer bands , respectively .The fluorescence spectra of dilute solution of (IPNMA) in methanol were recorded in temperature range of 8- 45?C . Objective: to assess the Nursing College students' health-protective behaviors (HPBs) and their
association with some sociodemograghic characteristics.
Methodology: A sample of 100 Students (males and females) was selected through a systematic
random sample that were at the third and fourth year of Nursing College in Baghdad University for the
period of April 1st through April 30th 2007. Data were collected through the use of a self-report
instrument that used for Americans as HPBs assessment that contains 23 items. Reliability and validity
of the tool were determined through a pilot study. A descriptive statistical approach (frequencies and
percentages) and inferential statistical approach (chi-square) were used for
