E2F6 is essential for cell viability in breast cancer cells during replication stress

Abstract: E2F6 is a member of the E2F family of transcription factors involved in regulation of a wide variety of genes through both activation and repression. E2F6 has been reported as overexpressed in breast cancers but whether or not this is important for tumor development is unclear. We first checked E2F6 expression in tumor cDNAs and the protein level in a range of breast cancer cell lines. RNA interference-mediated depletion was then used to assess the importance of E2F6 expression in cell lines with regard to cell cycle profile using fluorescence-activated cell sorting and a cell survival assay using (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT). The overexpression of E2F6 was confirmed in breast tumor cDNA samp

An Improved Segmentation Technique for Early Detection of Exudates of Diabetic Retinopathy Disease

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a diabetes- caused disease that is associated with  leakage of fluid from the blood vessels into the retina, leading to its damage. It is one of the most common diseases that can lead to weak vision and even blindness. Exudates is a clear indication of diabetic retinopathy, which is the main cause of blindness in people with diabetes. Therefore, early detection of exudates is a crucial and essential step to prevent blindness and vision loss is in the analysis of digital diabetic retinopathy systems. This paper presents an improved approach for detection of exudates in retina image using supervised-unsupervised Minimum Distance (MD) segmentation method. The suggested system includes three stages; First, a

An Asymptotic Analysis of the Gradient Remediability Problem for Disturbed Distributed Linear Systems

The goal of this work is demonstrating, through the gradient observation of a   of type linear ( -systems), the possibility for reducing the effect of any disturbances (pollution, radiation, infection, etc.) asymptotically, by a suitable choice of related actuators of these systems. Thus, a class of  ( -system) was developed based on finite time  ( -system). Furthermore, definitions and some properties of this concept -system and asymptotically gradient controllable system ( -controllable) were stated and studied. More precisely, asymptotically gradient efficient actuators ensuring the weak asymptotically gradient compensation system ( -system) of known or unknown disturbances are examined. Consequently, under convenient hypo

A Haptic feedback system based on leap motion controller for prosthetic hand application

Leap Motion Controller (LMC) is a gesture sensor consists of three infrared light emitters and two infrared stereo cameras as tracking sensors. LMC translates hand movements into graphical data that are used in a variety of applications such as virtual/augmented reality and object movements control. In this work, we intend to control the movements of a prosthetic hand via (LMC) in which fingers are flexed or extended in response to hand movements. This will be carried out by passing in the data from the Leap Motion to a processing unit that processes the raw data by an open-source package (Processing i3) in order to control five servo motors using a micro-controller board. In addition, haptic setup is proposed using force sensors (F

On the Characteristic Properties for Subclasses of the Higher Derivative of Analytic Functions

In the present paper, we introduce two subclasses, S*C(,,g,s,d) and  TS*C(, ,g, s,d), of analytic functions . Coefficients bounds for these subclasses are calculated.

The main purpose of this article is to originate characteristic properties of the functions in the above subclasses.

The Continuous Classical Optimal Control Problems for Triple Nonlinear Elliptic Boundary Value Problem

In this research, our aim is to study the optimal control problem (OCP) for triple nonlinear elliptic boundary value problem (TNLEBVP). The Mint-Browder theorem is used to prove the existence and uniqueness theorem of the solution of the state vector for fixed control vector. The existence theorem for the triple continuous classical optimal control vector (TCCOCV) related to the TNLEBVP is also proved. After studying the existence of a unique solution for the triple adjoint equations (TAEqs) related to the triple of the state equations, we derive The Fréchet derivative (FD) of the cost function using Hamiltonian function. Then the theorems of necessity conditions and the sufficient condition for optimality of

Proposing Robust LAD-Atan Penalty of Regression Model Estimation for High Dimensional Data

The issue of penalized regression model has received considerable critical attention to variable selection. It plays an essential role in dealing with high dimensional data. Arctangent denoted by the Atan penalty has been used in both estimation and variable selection as an efficient method recently. However, the Atan penalty is very sensitive to outliers in response to variables or heavy-tailed error distribution. While the least absolute deviation is a good method to get robustness in regression estimation. The specific objective of this research is to propose a robust Atan estimator from combining these two ideas at once. Simulation experiments and real data applications show that the p
