Sub-threshold operation has received a lot of attention in limited performance applications. However, energy optimization of sub-threshold circuits should be performed with the concern of the performance limitation of such circuit. In this paper, a dual size design is proposed for energy minimization of sub-threshold CMOS circuits. The optimal downsizing factor is determined and assigned for some gates on the off-critical paths to minimize the energy at the maximum allowable performance. This assignment is performed using the proposed slack based genetic algorithm which is a heuristic-mixed evolutionary algorithm. Some gates are heuristically assigned to the original and the downsized design based on their slack time determined by static timing analysis. Other gates are subjected to the genetic algorithm to perform an optimal downsizing assignment taking into account the previous assignments. The algorithm is applied for different downsizing factors to determine the optimal dual size for low energy operation without a performance degradation. Experimental results are obtained for some ISCAS-85 benchmark circuits such as 74283, 74L85, ALU74181, and 16 bit ripple carry adder. The proposed design shows an energy per cycle saving ranged from (29.6% to 56.59%) depending on the utilization of available slack time from the off-critical paths. © School of Engineering, Taylor’s University.
Amongst the literary writers who used their art to direct the attention towards the issue of woman and her rights in a proper life is the English poet and novelist Thomas Hardy (1840-1928), who has been praised for his “openness to the feminine principle” 1 as Irving Howe put it. Hardy’s wide readings have changed his way of dealing with and thinking about so many critical issues which started to float on the surface of the English society during the mid and late of the 19th century. His readings for a number of writers, who seem of huge impact on his writings as he later admits that – “[his] pages show harmony of view with

What are the basis of design for the ceramic art sculptures? The study refers to the design privacy in the contemporary ceramic arts, not as a serviceable art, but the art of being a dialectic collecting the arts across the craft and compositionThis research is the first study to look at the privacy of design and the connection with the formation of the large sizes ceramic art sculptures, and what they have as privacy of design and the way of formations. To highlight on the most prominent technical problems facing the ceramist in the production of so sculptural worksThe need for the study comes to help the worker

The research is interested in studying the iconic form in the modern graphic design through investing names and flags and the extent of their action in the social life and invest them from one to another looked at from viewpoint of trading and consumption and investing their wide popularity. The study problem is manifested in the following question:
1- Does the iconic form help in ad circulation?
The importance of the research lies in the following:
1- Reading the visual iconic form through deciphering its current symbols. The form combines a concept and a case or a form and meaning.

... Show MoreThe general aim of an experimental design in this paper was to estimate the different treatments effects on the responses by statistical methods. The estimates must be averting biases and the random errors minimized as much as possible. We used multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) to analyze design of experiments for several responses. In this paper, we provided three fertilizers (mineral, humic, micro-elements) applied on Yellow Maize experiment. This experiment was conducted by completely randomized design (CRD). We tested four responses (Chlorophyll in paper, total ton / ha, paper area / cm2 and plant height / cm) together to find significant test between them. The partial correlations are between Chlorophyll in paper and total ton
