This work was conducted to study limestone rock wettability alteration to enhance oil recovery by flooding using different Nano silica (NS) sizes suspended in saline water and compared with flooding solution of polyethylene glycol (PEG) polymer and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) surfactant, the stability of nanofluids measured by zeta potential. The metallicity [Fe/H] for several stars accompanied by Extra-solar planets were calculated and plotted as a function of stars mass (M*). Results showed that masses of Extra-solar planets stars are well correlated with their metallicity .This relation could be explained by the equation: Y=-0.0045x + 0.065. The metallicity limit is found to be in the range of (0.18 to 0.3), relative to the mass limit in the range of (0.76 to 1.44) MSun.

The effect of micro-and nano silica particles (silica SiO2 (100 μm), Fused silica (12nm)) on some mechanical properties of epoxy resin was investigated (Young's modulus, Flexural strength). The micro-and nano composites were prepared by using three steps process with different volume fraction of micro-and nano particles (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 15, and 20 vol. %). Flexural strength and Young's modulus of nano composites were increased at low volume fraction (max. enhancement at 4 vol.% ).
