Between the 1980s and 1990s, the HURIER model was developed by Brownell and consist of six interrelated components, which are represented in these acronyms (Hearing, Understanding, Remembering, Interpreting, Evaluating, and Responding). This model can be considered as a framework of the behavioral approach which can be used to improve students’ listening performance and to foster a positive attitude toward listening. Many learners find it challenging to improve their listening skills when learning a second or foreign language because it requires the integration of both listening and speaking. Consequently, enhancing this skill will help students improve other language skills, including reading, speaking, and writing. The HURIER model remains unfamiliar in the context of Iraq and the surrounding countries, based on the researcher’s knowledge. Hence, the present study uses the HURIER model as a method in language teaching.
Numerous research studies have been conducted on why some learners acquire a second language more easily and quickly than others. Most of these studies have demonstrated that acquiring a second language does not depend only on learners’ cognitive ability or professional teaching strategies. The learning language process is more complicated than that. It is affected by crucial factors that are beyond the control of learners and teachers. These factors are known as sociolinguistic factors. These factors include culture, age, motivation, socio-economic status, and gender. This research paper mainly concentrates on the role of motivation in second language acquisition.
The primary goal of the study is to practise some systematic strategies for foreign language instruction despite the fact that no single approach to language classroom instruction is inherently superior to others; instead the choice of an approach should be determined by the teacher, students, the subject matter, and the situation. The paper adopts certain strategies which may assist EFL teachers to excel in their work and continue their professional development. Hence, it is intended for language teachers who understand the value of good teaching and like to produce academically successful students. The study could also help college student teachers to acquire new strategies in order not only to succeed but also to excel in their learni

One form of advertisement is a blurb. In this study, the researcher applies Fonton and Saint-Dizier (2010) and Hymes (1962) models on 23 blurbs. These two models are chosen on consideration of accounting grammatical categories and speech events respectively. The study tends to answer the following question: How do blurb’s writers exploit language to convince the reader to buy the intended book? Therefore, the aim of the study can be stated as analyzing the blurbs according to these two models and finding which category scores higher and serves in ad

The examination model is by Gaius model in order to find the best fitting curve and the equation controlled with this behavior. The three metal ions are (Copper chloride Cu+2, Iron chloride Fe+3, and Cobalt chloride Co+2) with different concentrations (10-4, 10-5, 10-6, 10-7) gm/m3. The spectroscopic study included UV-visible and fluorescence spectrum for all different concentrations sample. The results refer to several peaks that appear from the absorption spectrum in the high concentration of all metal ions solution.

This article suggests and explores a three-species food chain model that includes fear effects, refuges depending on predators, and cannibalism at the second level. The Holling type II functional response determines food consumption between stages of the food chain. This study examined the long-term behavior and impacts of the suggested model's essential elements. The model's solution properties were studied. The existence and stability of every probable equilibrium point were examined. The persistence needs of the system have been determined. It was discovered what conditions could lead to local bifurcation at equilibrium points. Appropriate Lyapunov functions are utilized to investigate the overall dynamics of the system. In recent years, research into the development and construction of secure information systems in government institutions seems to be very effective. Based on information system principles, this study proposes a model for providing and evaluating security for all of the departments of government institutions. The requirements of any information system begin with the organization's surroundings and objectives. Most prior techniques did not take into account the organizational component on which the information system runs, despite the relevance of
