Frame-Based Change Detection Using Histogram and Threshold to Separate Moving Objects from Dynamic Background
...Show More Authors

Detecting and subtracting the Motion objects from backgrounds is one of the most important areas. The development of cameras and their widespread use in most areas of security, surveillance, and others made face this problem. The difficulty of this area is unstable in the classification of the pixels (foreground or background). This paper proposed a suggested background subtraction algorithm based on the histogram. The classification threshold is adaptively calculated according to many tests. The performance of the proposed algorithms was compared with state-of-the-art methods in complex dynamic scenes.

Power-Efficient Virtual Machine Placement in Cloud Datacenters using Heuristic Assisted Enhanced Discrete Particle Swarm Optimization
...Show More Authors

The increase in cloud computing services and the large-scale construction of data centers led to excessive power consumption. Datacenters contain a large number of servers where the major power consumption takes place. An efficient virtual machine placement algorithm is substantial to attain energy consumption minimization and improve resource utilization through reducing the number of operating servers. In this paper, an enhanced discrete particle swarm optimization (EDPSO) is proposed. The enhancement of the discrete PSO algorithm is achieved through modifying the velocity update equation to bound the resultant particles and ensuring feasibility. Furthermore, EDPSO is assisted by two heuristic algorithms random first fit (RFF) a

Identify the main factors affecting labor productivity within different organizational structures in the Iraqi construction sector
...Show More Authors
Abstract
The construction sector in Iraq has faced many challenges. One of the major challenges is the lack of productivity of laborers who are working construction sites. Although research studies have been conducted to investigate, explore, and identify factors influencing labor productivity in the Middle-east region, the lack of such research studies to address these challenges in Iraq. This motivates the researcher to explore and identify the key factors affecting labor productivity in construction sites across different organizational structures (Matrix, Projectized, and functional). A survey questionnaire has been conducted using Delphi technique in order to achieve a concrete and reliab
... Show More

The voice had a special place in the writting of the Andalusian poet (Ibn al-Abar ) , which aroused my attention because of the sonic capacity of the lettering inside the poetic at Ibn al-Abar poems . So Istudied the qualities of the lettering , structures and their exits . Scientists have not been able to determine the musical from the nonmusical sound , but we find the innate ability of Ibn al-Abar , which was able to determine this by using the lettering the right places and to revival the life to reflect the moments of his life , therefore came votes to express his purposes of praise and pride Etc. The poet Ibn al-Abar could exploit the lettering features in the effect of bilateral – static and moving and its ability to e

The extent to which governmental secondary schools' managers in al-hial province have cognitive management requirements
...Show More Authors

The current study aims to examine the level of cognitive management requirement among the governmental secondary schools' managers in al-hial province in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. To do this, the author designed a questionnaire comprised (20) item which was applied on (250) managers included (113) manager hold bachelor degree and (137) manager hold master degree. To carry out this study, the researcher utilized the descriptive approach. The findings revealed that a high level of cognitive management requirements among secondary schools' managers as well as there is a significant difference at the (0.05) level regarding degree type, but there is no a significant difference according to gender variable.

This study was carried out from February to October 2012 in six semi salty ponds in Gwer sub-district which is the first work in the area. A total of 32 species and 2 genera of algae where reported as the new records. Mostly the non diatoms are belonging to Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Euglenophyta, Cryptophyta, Chrysophyceae, while diatoms or Bacilariophyceae are belong to pennals- order.

Using Computer Processing Interpretation (CPI) Technique to Evaluate Mishrif Formation in Garraf Oil Field, Southern Iraq
...Show More Authors

The aim of this study is to determine and evaluate the units and subunits of Mishrif Formation in Garraf oil field 85 km north of Nasiriyah city depending mainly on the geophysical well logging data and other amiable geological information. The sets of the geophysical well logs data acquired from GA-4, GA- AIP, GA- B8P, GA-3 and GA-5 wells of Garraf oil field are used to determine the petrophysical and lithological properties for each zone in Mishrif Formation to locate, define and evaluate hydrocarbon production from each zone in the reservoir which is also known as formation evaluation. The digitization was done by using Didger software and the interpretations were made using Interactive Petrophysics Program v 3.5 and Petrel software.

Evaluating the phenomenological approach models in predicting the Neutron Induced Deuteron Emission Spectra from Different reactions
...Show More Authors

A neutron induced deuteron emission spectra and double differential cross-sections (DDX), in 27Al (n, D) 26Mg, 51V (n, D)50Ti , 54Fe ( n, D)53Mn and 63Cu (n, D) 62Ni reactions, have been investigated using the phenomenological approach model of Kalbach. The pre-equilibrium stage of the compound nucleus formation is considered the main pivot in the discription of cross-section, while the equilibrium (pick up or knock out ) process is analyzed in the framework of the statistical theory of cluster reactions, Feshbach, Kerman, and Koonin (FKK) model. To constrain the applicable parameterization as much as possible and to assess the predictive power of these models, the calculated results have been compared with the experimental data and othe
