The amino thiadiazole [I] on treatment with aromatic aldehydes yielded Schiff bases [IIa-c], which cyclized to thiazolidinone [IIIa-c] derivatives by reaction with thioglycolic acid. Reaction of carbon disulfide and methyl iodide with [I] gavedithiomethyl [IV] which on treatment with o-phenylenediamine gave the condensed N-Imidazolythiadiazolylamine [V], However, reaction of [I] with phenylisocyanate and phenylisothiocyanate afforded the carbamideand carbothiamide derivatives [VI. VII] ac. The structure of these compounds was characterized from their melting point, FTIR spectroscopy and elementalanalysis
This study was done to compare the morphometric parameters of placentas in well controlled patients with preeclampsia, diabetes, and preeclampsia-diabetes with that of normal uncomplicated placentas. Patients & Methods: A total of Twenty four placentas were freshly collected. Six placentas for control group and eighteen placentas for complicated group (preeclamptic-diabetic and preeclamptic--diabetic subgroups). The placentas were grossly examined (shape, number of cotyledons, weight, and thickness). After suitable fixation, tissue processing and sectioning, the sections were stained by hematoxylin and eosin to study the general morphology and morphometry of the following parameters: number of terminal villi, number of syncytial knots, numb
... Show MoreThe migration from IPv4 to IPv6 can not be achieved in a brief period, thus both protocols co-exist at certain years. IETF Next Generation Transition Working Group (NGtrans) developed IPv4/IPv6 transition mechanisms. Since Iraq infrastructure, including universities, companies and institutions still use IPv4 protocol only. This research article tries to highlight, discuss a required transition roadmap and extend the local knowledge and practice on IPv6. Also, it introduces a prototype model using Packet tracer (network simulator) deployed for the design and implementation of IPv6 migration. Finally, it compares and evaluates the performance of IPv6, IPv4 and dual stack using OPNET based on QoS metrics such as throughput, delay and point to

Elemental analysis (C.H.N) Flame atomic absorption technique . in addition to magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurement.
A series of new compounds including p-bromo methyl pheno acetate [2]. N-( aminocarbonyl)–p-bromo pheno acetamide [3] , N-( aminothioyl) -p-bromo phenoacetyl amide [4], N-[4-(p-di phenyl)-1,3-oxazol-2-yl]-p-bromopheno acetamide [5],N-[4-p-di phenyl]-1,3-thiazol-2-yl-p-bromo phenoacet amide [6], p-bromopheno acetic acid hydrazide [7] , 1-N-(p-bromo pheno acetyl)-1,2-dihydro-pyridazin-3,6- dione [8], 1-N-(p-bromo pheno acetyl)-1,2-dihydro-phthalazin-3,8- dione[ 9], 1-(p-bromo pheno acetyl)-3-methylpyrazol-5-one [10] and 1-(p-bromo phenol acetyl)- 3,5-dimethyl pyrazole [11] have been synthesized. The prepared compounds were characterized by m.p.,FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. Also ,the biological activity was evaluated .
The reaction of poly (vinyl alcohol) (PV A) with Urea in (DMSO) resulted in uerthanised oxim, wr,ich reacted with diacetylmonoxime in a (DY.ISOfmethanol) to give anew type (N2) polymeric bidentate imine oxime ligand [HL], The ligand was reacted with MCh (where M= Co, Cu, and Hg). Under reflux in a (DMF/Methanol) mixture with (I:1) ratio to give Complexes of the general formula [M (T.)2]X, (where M= Co,Hg, Cu). All .:ompouncs have been characterized by spectroscopic methods [IR, U.V.-Vis, A tomi<;absorption] microanalysis along with conductivity measurements, from the above:: data the proposed molecular structure for Co,Cu, and Hg is a distorted. Some metal ions (Mn+2, Co+2, Ni+2, Cu+2, Zn+2, Cd+2 and Hg+2) complexes of quinaldic acid (QuinH) and α-picoline (α-Pic) have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of their , FTIR, (U.V-Vis) spectroscopy, conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. From the results obtained the following general formula has suggested for the prepared complexes [M(Quin)2( α-Pic)2].XH2O where M+2 = (Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg), X = 2, X = zero for (Co+2 and Hg+2) complexes, (Quin-) = quinaldate ion, (α-Pic) = α-picoline. The results showed that the deprotonated ligand (QuinH) by using (KOH) coordinated to metal ions as bidentate ligand through the oxygen atom of the carboxylate group (-COO-) and the nitrogen ato

The prepared complexes were identified by using flame atomic absorption, FT.IR and UV-Vis spectroscopic methods as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. In addition antibacterial activity of the two ligands and mixed ligand complexes oboist three species of bacteria were also examined. The ligands and their complexes show good bacterial activities. From the obtained data the octahedral geometry was suggested for all prepared complexes.
