The work presented in this paper is a case study of the southeastern Iraqi Fauqi Oil Field to evaluate both the petrophysical properties and lithology of the Jeribe–Euphrates Formations. Reservoir characterization was performed using well log data, including Gamma Ray (GR), Density (RHOB), Neutron (NPHI), Sonic (DT), Spontaneous Potential (SP), and resistivity logs. Data processing, correction, and interpretation were conducted using Interactive Petrophysics (IP) software. The Gamma Ray method was used to estimate shale volume (Vsh), while porosity was calculated using various methods, with the neutron–density combination providing reliable results. To determine water saturation (Sw), the Archie equation was applied using commonly adopted parameters for carbonate reservoirs. Lithology was determined from density–neutron cross plots and M–N cross plots, which indicated that the Jeribe–Euphrates Formations are mainly composed of dolomite with minor limestone. The results show variations in reservoir quality, with certain intervals exhibiting favorable petrophysical properties and hydrocarbon potential.
This study aims to use claystone beds exposed in the Injana Formation (Late Miocene) at Karbala-Najaf plateau, middle of Iraq for the manufacturing of perforated and ordinary bricks. The claystone samples were assessed as an alternative material of the recent sediments, which are preferred to remain as agricultural land. The claystones are sandy mud composing of 29.1 - 39.1% clay, 37.2 - 54.8% silt and 14.1-26.8% sand. They consist of kaolinite, illite, chlorite, palygorskite, and montmorillonite with a lot of quartz, calcite, dolomite, gypsum and feldspar. Claystone samples were characterized by linear shrinkage 0.01 - 0.1%, volume shrinkage 0.1 - 0.9%, bulk density 1.2 - 2.11gm/cm3 (1.68 g / cm3 average), and the efflorescence is

The increasing of some traded Agricultural crops prices coincide with the increasing of crude oil prices in global market since the beginning of 21st century which indicate the possibility of short run and long run causality relation between the imported economic variables. The study aims to analysis the causality effects between some of Agricultural crops prices imported by Iraq and the prices of crude oil and Iraq dinar exchange rate in global markets for period (2004:1 -2016:4) theory for developing the adequate price and economic police for Iraqi economic sector. The results show the existence of short- run and long- run between the eco

The objective of this research was to study the effect of the catalyst -to- oil ratio parameter on catalytic cracking process of heavy vacuum gas oil feed at constant temperature (450 °C). The first step of this treatment was, catalytic cracking of this material by constructed batch reactor occupied with auxiliary control devices, at selective range of the catalyst –to- oil ratio parameter ( 2, 2.5, 3 and 3.5) respectively. The conversion of heavy vacuum gas

Results showed that the main components of seed oil were Palmitic (C16:0) 5,893% ,Palmitolic acid (C16:1)0,398%, Steaeic (C18:0)2,911% ,Oleic (C18:1)74,984%,Linoleic (C18:2) 12,959%,and Linolenic (C18:3) 0,997%. The proportion of unsaturated fatty acid was above 89,338%, so the seed oil of L. lucidum ait belonged to unsaturated oil which possessed promising application. The components of flower oil were Palmitic (C16:0) 65,674% ,Palmitolic acid (C16:1)6,516%, Steaeic (C18:0)2,641% ,Oleic (C18:1)14,707%,Linoleic (C18:2) 3,113%,and Linolenic (C18:3) 2,70%. The phenomenon of poverty is one of the most serious problems that must be dealt with seriously. This phenomenon has persisted in Iraq for decades because of the harsh economic conditions and unstable security conditions due to the crises it has faced since 2013. This study requires much study and analysis. And rural areas as a special case. In this study, the researcher examined the poverty line as a criterion in estimating the poverty indicators, which include (poverty percentage H, poverty gap PG, poverty intensity PS), based on the continuous social and economic survey data for households in 2014. The ma

The results showed that the sodium silicate coating reinforced with carbon nano-powder has higher resistance to stitches, mechanical wear, adhesive and thermal conductivity than graphite/sodium silicate composite especially when the ratio 5% and 1%, the electrochemical corrosion test confirmed that the coating process of stainless steel 304 lead to increasin

The actual costing system is unable to meet the contemporary management needs ,so the Standard costing system appear to provide the management with required information to perform its functions by the best use& way.
This research aims to determine the standard cost for the direct material for oil extraction activity by applying it in the north oil company.
Abstract Background: Dne of the key component of nasal tipplasty is effecter control of naral tip projection. Several cartilage grafts have been decreased for this purpose each had its own advantage and disadvantage. Aim: To evaluate using of double teostrut graft for controlling of tip projection. Patients and Methods: A total number of 170 patients were subjected to primary and secondary rhino plaster between January 2020 to January 2023. Those patients had double Teostrut banner graft for support of their nasal tip and maintaining tip projection after operation. Results: The follow period was ranging between 6-12 months. The shape of the nose was evaluating by patents vernal analogues scale. The average score for patients satisfaction wa
