After the fall of the Third Dynasty of Ur at the hands of the Elamites during the reign of its last ruler, King Ibi-Sin, the Amorites continued to flow more into Mesopotamia in the form of large migrations that established a number of contemporary and conflicting ruling dynasties that formed the Old Babylonian era. The kings who ruled after him expanded their influence and controlled a number of cities, especially the cities of Nippur and Uruk, which had previously belonged to the city of Isin. They also controlled northern Babylonia. The conflicts continued between the Larsa dynasty and the Isin dynasty, and then the First Babylonian dynasty. Then the situation deteriorated in Larsa itself, but King Kudrambuk was able to defeat the attacking armies and restore the power of Larsa and install his son. King Wardsen on the throne, and the importance of Isin decreased and its dynasty was finally eliminated after the attack of the King of Larsa Rim-Sin. In this research, a group of texts dating back to his reign were studied.
The six tablets presented here were returned to Iraq by the Jordanian authorities in 2008 and are now housed in the Iraq Museum.1 They date from the Third Dynasty of Ur (2112–2004 B.C.), from AS 9 to IS 2. The tablets record expenditures (zi-ga) of gold and various food items such as bread, fish, soup, beer, and meat. These food supplies were provided primarily as rations for royal messengers (lu2-kiĝ2-gi4-a lugal) on their journeys from cities such as Dēr, Adamdun, and Simaškum to the king’s residence. In addition, rations were provided for men coming from several cities, including Maza, Harši, and Kimaš. This study confirms that the tablets came from Irisaĝrig.

In the carbonization process, nitrogen gas flow rate was 0.2L/min at carbonization temperature of 500ºC for 1h. The char products were then preceded to the activation process at 850°C under carbon dioxide (CO2) activation flow rate of 0.6L/min for 3h. The activation method produced local adsorbent material with a surface area and total pore volume as high as 118.59m2 /g and 0.1467cm3/g, respectively. The produced . local adsorbent (activated carbon) was used for adsorption of lead from aqueous solution. The continuous fixed bed column experiments were conducted. The adsorption capacity performance of prepared activated carbons in this work
