The six tablets presented here were returned to Iraq by the Jordanian authorities in 2008 and are now housed in the Iraq Museum.1 They date from the Third Dynasty of Ur (2112–2004 B.C.), from AS 9 to IS 2. The tablets record expenditures (zi-ga) of gold and various food items such as bread, fish, soup, beer, and meat. These food supplies were provided primarily as rations for royal messengers (lu2-kiĝ2-gi4-a lugal) on their journeys from cities such as Dēr, Adamdun, and Simaškum to the king’s residence. In addition, rations were provided for men coming from several cities, including Maza, Harši, and Kimaš. This study confirms that the tablets came from Irisaĝrig.
The book presents a study of an archive comprising 290 cuneiform texts, all of which pertain to a significant yet relatively underexplored subject, commonly referred to as the “Treasure and Shoes Archive,” whose provenance has been attributed to the site of Drehem. The book also examines the scholarly debate surrounding Isakkidana-Nefar and Buzursh-Dagan. Furthermore, it explores the economic activities of the princes and princesses of the royal family during the Third Dynasty of Ur, shedding light on their economic roles and activities within the broader administrative and socioeconomic framework of the period.
Approximately 130 cuneiform texts from this archive have been discovered through clandestine excavations. Seven tablets from Sh. Moussaieff were published in by F. Joannes and A. Lemaire, 1 forty- one texts from Iraqi Museum were studied in PhD dissertation in Baghdad by Aminah Fadhil Al-Bayati, 2 fifty-four texts from Martin Schøyen Collection were published by C. Wunsch,3 a few texts were separate published, two from David Sofer Collection by L. E. Pearce, & C. Wunsch, 4 one text studied by C. Wunsch and Z. Niederreiter, from the Royal Museums of Art and History, Brussels. 5 A group of texts belongs to this archive from Iraqi Museum is being studied for a PhD dissertation at the University of Baghdad, College of Arts, Department of Archa

They are weak bases that neutralize the gastric acid and relief pain. These weak bases dissociate to neutralize gastric acid and form neutral salts. The ultimate goal of antacid therapy is to reduce the concentration and a total load of acid in gastric juice to a pH 4 - 5. This in vitro study was promised to study the acid neutralizing capacity (ANC) of six commonly available antacids tablets in the Iraqi market by using back titration method. The highest ANC values were for Rennie (17.131± 0.083 and 16.926± 0.052 mEq) in two different hydrochloric acid (HCl) concentrations 1N and 0.5 N, respectively. The static

This paper is an attempt to investigate the pore structure of four different paracetamol tablets based on mercury porosimetry. The intrusion volumes of mercury were used to calculate the pore diameter, pore volume and pore size distribution. The result obtained indicate that the variation of the pore volume in the tablets followed the sequence:- S.D.I. Iraq? Pharmacare,Dubai-U.A.E.? Bron and Burk(UK) London?Lark Laboratories(India), while the variation of surface area followed the sequence:- S.D.I. Iraq? Lark Laboratories(India)? Pharmacare,Dubai-U.A

Show MoreThe development of a meaningful dissolution procedure for drug products with limited water solubility has been a challenge to both the pharmaceutical industry and the agencies that regulate them. Natural surfactants aid in the dissolution and subsequent absorption of drugs with limited aqueous solubility. In vitro, various techniques have been used to achieve adequate dissolution of the sparingly water – soluble or water insoluble drug products such as the use of mechanical methods (i.e., increased agitation and the disintegration method) or hydro alcoholic medium or large volumes of medium. The necessity of assuring the quality of drugs , especially those with low aqueous solubility and in vivo absorption , has led to the development and

The purpose of the present research was to develop fast dissolving tablets of PCM with β-cyclodextrin inclusion complex. Tablets prepared by wet granulation with sublimation and by using different superdisintegrants type [ low-hydroxypropylcellulose LH21 (L-HPC LH21), carboxymethylcellulose calcium (ECG505), crospovidone (CP)], and different type of subliming agents (urea and ammonium bicarbonate (AB)). Tablets evaluated for its % friability, disintegration time, wetting time, hardness, content uniformity, weight variation, in vitro dissolution studies. For further enhancement of disintegration and dissolution, PCM orodispersible tablet were formula
