The immune infertility caused by anti-sperm antibodies (ASAs) represented about 10–20% of infertility among the couples. The ASAs interfere with sperm parameters such as sperm motility and sperm ability to penetrate cervical mucus, sperm-oocyte binding, and fertilization and embryo development. Objectives: The present study designed to assess semen analysis, presence of ASAs and DNA fragmentation index as well as correlation within these parameters in normzoospermic Iraqi subjects Patients, Materials, and Methods: A total number of Iraqi subjects (116) with range of age (20-51) years and their mean duration of infertility (4.70 ± 2.77). Seminal fluid for macroscopic and microscopic assessments done according to WHO 2010 criteria. The mixed agglutination reaction (MAR) test was used to assess their ASAs in semen (direct method), seminal plasma, and serum (indirect method) for both IgG and IgA classes of antibodies and their distribution among different parts of spermatozoa as a percentage. Results: The mean of IgG using the direct method was (23.88± 1.75) and for the indirect detection method the mean was (27.41± 2.41) with no significant difference (p > 0.05) between the two methods. While the direct method for IgA detection had a mean of 14.46 ± 1.76 and the indirect method of detection had a mean of 6.86 ± 0.39, there was a significant difference (P<0.05) between the two methods. In addition to that, the distribution of IgG and IgA detected by the direct method on sperm parts showed no significant difference except for the sperm tail, while the indirect method for IgA and IgG showed a significant difference in distribution on the sperm mid-piece. Conclusion: The correlation among sperm parameters and immunoglobulin using direct and indirect methods shows variations in significance also in the correlation between the direct and indirect methods according to distributions on the sperm surface.
In this research we have been studied the 3rd order spherical aberration for an optical system consisted of obscured circular aperture with non central circular obscuration through the calculation of point spread function (P.S.F) in presence of the obscuration in the center and comparing the obtained results with that results of moving obscuration far away from the center, where the results showed significant improvement for(P.S.F) value. The study was done of different obscurities ratios in addition to the different 3rd order spherical aberration values (W40=0.25 ,0.5 ,0.75 ,1 ).
This study presents an investigation about the effect of fire flame on the punching shear strength of hybrid fiber reinforced concrete flat plates. The main considered parameters are the fiber type (steel or glass) and the burning steady-state temperatures (500 and 600°C). A total of 9 half-scale flat plate specimens of dimensions 1500mm×1500mm×100mm and 1.5% fiber volume fraction were cast and divided into 3 groups. This study was carried out to assess genetic diversity of ten cultivars of Rice (Oryza sativa L.). One of DNA markers based on Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) was used namely DAF markers (DNA Amplification Fingerprint). Six primers were tested, the results showed, that no amplification products using the primers OPD.14 and OPM.5. Two primers (OPX.8 and OPT.2) produced monomorphic band across all cultivars, while only two primers generated polymorphic bands. The number of total bands produced from one of them (OPN.7) were sixteen.
