Abstract. This paper examines the structural rules governing abbrevia-tions in the Russian lexicon and proposes methods for translating these abbrevi-ated forms into Arabic. Based on the general theory of abbreviation by Shapovalova (2018) and subsequent typological studies. Abbreviations occupy a significant place in the modern Russian language, especially in official business, scientific and journalistic styles. However, when translating these units into Ara-bic, translators face a number of linguistic and cultural difficulties that require special strategies and adaptation [5, с. 2]. This paper aims to add to the growing body of cognitive translation studies that deal with the translation of emotions and the factors of evaluating the translation process-oriented. Cognitive appraisal is one of the tokens that includes three paradigms of assessing the performance of translation, it can be addressed from the perspective of emotions, intuitions, and individual styles of the SL and the method of transfer into TL. The study hypothesized that translators create a similar emotional charge due to their mental capability to build the same emotional effect in the TL audience.       The ethyl acetate synthesis via heterogeneous reactive distillation is studied experimentally using ethanol and acetic acid. Three types of cation exchanging resins were used as catalysts: Zerolit 225, Zerolit 226 and Ambylite 400. Experiments were carried out in two units of the same dimensions. Each unit consisted of three sections: rectifying, reactive and stripping sections of heights (60+25+20) cm respectively and 2.5cm column diameter. The first unit (column-A-) was a fractionation type and the second unit (column-B-) was packed column. The packing type was hollow glass cylinders with 10 mm height, and 4, 5 mm inner and outer diameter respectively.
