This paper try to shed light on one of interpretations of the prosody of Ibn Barry “Al-duraru l-lawāmi῾ fi maqra᾽i l-ImāmiNāfi῾” a famous prosody that students still study and spend time in memorize and understand it until this day. This interpretation is considered one of the simplest and appropriate to the nature of teaching in the early stages of education for students of Arabic in general. Abstract
This study concerned of scientific analysis of sociological directions
among Iraqi scholars graduated before 1960. These directions was divided
between heritage, conflict, critical and symbolic interaction. It is important to
mention that Al-Wardi scholar tried to build a theory in Sociology focused on
the image of Iraqi personality through historical approach used by Arabian
scholar Ibn-Khaldon.

The six names are names developed by grammarians, so some of them counted them as six, which are (your father, your brother, your father-in-law, Hanuk, Fuk, and Dhu). The Arabs, as explained by Sibawayh and the linguists after him, when this name was contrary to the conditions of grammar, and what we follow in the rules of these words is that they are expressed in letters that linguists call (vowels), while phonologists call them (long vowels), which are (alif, waw, Walia).
