Soil resistivity depends on many overlapping factors, which influence it in various ways. The aim of this study was to determine the effects of some physical and chemical factors on soil apparent resistivity. The results of field, laboratory, and statistical studies revealed a complex relationship between water content, pH, and salinity with soil apparent resistivity. The results showed that water content had a clear effect on apparent resistivity, as it increased significantly when water content value decreased to less than about 5%. The results also showed that increasing the salinity ratio at the expense of water content led to an increase in the apparent resistivity values. Background: Although studies regarding the role of religious beliefs in psychological well being are relatively recent, the importance of people’s religiousness and spirituality for their health status has been widely acclaimed based on hundreds of published studies.
Patients and Methods: The Arabic Modified version of WHOQOL-SRPB (World health organization quality of life-spirituality, religiosity and personal belief) questionnaire was self
administered to a systematic random sample of 100 fifth year medical students.
Results: Around a quarter (21-28%) of subjects perceived religiousness as very to extremely important. This percentage raised to 38% for spirituality and further to 61% for personal believes.

This paper presents the finite strain results from seven oriented samples data on Tertiary sandstone of Muqdadiya Formation and (400) samples of pebbles and conglomerate of Bai –Hassan Formation at the southwestern limb of Al-Tib Anticline in the Southeastern part of Iraq.
