So targeted Current search to know (KWL strategy effectiveness in the collection of fourth-grade students of history literary and the development of cognitive thinking skills they have) and to identify the impact researcher developed the following null hypotheses:

1 - There are a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.5) between the average collection of experimental group students taught according kwl strategy and the average collection of control group students taught in the traditional way in the post achievement test.
2 - There are a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.5) between the average scores of the experimental group students and taught according to kwl strategy and the average degrees of control group students taught according to the traditional method of testing cognitive thinking skills.

3 - There are a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of students in the experimental group cognitive thinking skills test pre and post.
4 - There are a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of control group students in cognitive thinking skills test pre and post.

To investigate, the researcher has chosen the design of the control group with pre and post test in cognitive thinking skills, and post in the collection, and was elected to be purposive sample of fourth-grade students in junior high literary Muthanna General Directorate for Education Baghdad / Rusafa first.
The sample search (70) students, by (35) students per group, between two sets of students rewarded Search variables (academic achievement, intelligence, prior knowledge, cognitive thinking tribal).

Researcher prepared (52) target behaviorally covered  first and second chapter of the material Arab history Islamic, and made plans teaching of subjects selected for the experiment, and to measure the collection of students Group Search at the end of the experiment, which lasted (12) weeks, researcher prepared a test included (30)paragraph of multiple choice type, has been characterized by honesty and reliability testing.

Also prepared test cognitive thinking skills included (38) paragraph of multiple choice type, characterized by honesty and consistency. After analyzing the results statistically, came on as follows:
1 - outweigh the experimental group and studied according kwl strategy on the control group, which studied according to the traditional method of dimensional achievement test.

2 - than the experimental group which studied according kwl strategy on the control group, which studied according to the traditional method of testing cognitive thinking skills.
3 - The presence of a statistically significant difference between pre and post tests and in favor of the post among students in the experimental group.
4 - There are a statistically significant difference between pre and post tests among students in the control group.

The Prevalence of a Clinically Silent Nephrolithiasis in Baghdad Population: An Initial Ultrasound Screening Study From Iraq
...Show More Authors

Abstract- Asymptomatic or clinically silent kidney stones are possibly serious because, in their expected passage, they may cause infection, obstruction and renal impairment. The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of silent kidney stones in a sample of Baghdad population and consider how this value could affect the justification for a screening system. To our best knowledge, this is the first study of its kind conducted in Iraq. We investigated 714 consecutive patients who sustained an abdominal ultrasound at our hospital with further kidney screening. All these patients did not have clinical signs and symptoms of nephrolithiasis. Age, sex, the indication for ultrasound, the size, side, and the number of the disco

Applying Penman-Monteith Equation to Evaluate the Performance of Atmometer Apparatus in Greenhouse for Estimating Reference Evapotranspiration
...Show More Authors

In this paper an atmometer apparatus were used in the greenhouses for estimating reference evapotranspiration values. Experimental work was conducted in the agriculture research center in the College of Agriculture-University of Baghdad west of the city of Baghdad. One atmometer was used in eggplant greenhouse and in cucumber greenhouse through the winter growing season 2013-2014. FAO Penman-Monteith equation was applied outside the greenhouse and used only 65% from the value of ETo in the greenhouses for estimating the reference evapotranspiration in the greenhouse. Moreover, Penman-Monteith equation was applied in greenhouses for the evaluating the performance of the atmometer. The results show that the erro

The Construction of Complete (k, n)-arcs in 3-Dimensional Projective Space Over Galois Field GF (4)
...Show More Authors

In this work, we construct the projectively distinct (k, n)-arcs in PG (3, 4) over Galois field GF (4), where k 5, and we found that the complete (k, n)-arcs, where 3 n 21, moreover we prove geometrically that the maximum complete (k, n)-arc in PG (3, 4) is (85, 21)-arc. A (k, n)-arcs is a set of k points no n+ 1 of which are collinear. A (k, n)-arcs is complete if it is not contained in a (k+ 1, n)-arcs

A Tri-Gene Ontology Migration Operator for Improving the Performance of Meta-heuristics in Complex Detection Problems
...Show More Authors

Detecting protein complexes in protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks is a challenging problem in computational biology. To uncover a PPI network into a complex structure, different meta-heuristic algorithms have been proposed in the literature. Unfortunately, many of such methods, including evolutionary algorithms (EAs), are based solely on the topological information of the network rather than on biological information. Despite the effectiveness of EAs over heuristic methods, more inherent biological properties of proteins are rarely investigated and exploited in these approaches. In this paper, we proposed an EA with a new mutation operator for complex detection problems. The proposed mutation operator is formulate

Study the Partial Molar Volume of Chrom Alum in Aqueous Poly (ethylene glycol) Solution at Different Temperature
...Show More Authors

This study present, the density of alum chrom in water and in aqueous solution of poly (ethylene glycol) (1500) at different temperature (288.15, 293.15, 298.15) k. Experimental values of density was used to calculate the apparent molar volume (Vθ), limiting apparent molar volume Vθ˚, experimental slope (Sv) and the partial molar volume at infinite dilution of transfer of solute Δνθ˚. These results have been interpreted the molecular interaction in term of ion- solvent, ion– ion interaction. The structure making /breaking capacities have been inferred from the sign of the second derivative of limiting partial molar volume with respect temperature at constant pressure. Alum has been formed to act as structure breaker in water and aq

Augmentation of the localized bony defects with synthetic bone substitute in simultaneous dental implant surgery(Clinical study)
...Show More Authors

Background: Simultaneous and staged guided bone regeneration (GBR) is one of the several surgical techniques that have been developed in the past two decades to regenerate bone and thus to allow implant placement in compromised sites (fenestration and dehiscence). It is a surgical procedure that consists of the placement of a cell-occlusive physical barrier between the connective tissue and the alveolar bone defect. The treatment concept advocates that regeneration of osseous defects is predictably attainable via the application of occlusive membranes, which mechanically exclude non-osteogenic cell populations from the surrounding soft tissues, thereby allowing osteogenic cell populations originating from the parent bone to inhabi
