A Review Article: Use of fertilizers and their gradual release of mineral nutrients as a remedy to this problem have an adverse environmental impact.
...Show More Authors

Throughout Agriculture has mostly relied on the use of natural fertilizers throughout human history, which are compounds that increase the nitrogen levels in the soil. Modern agriculture was made possible by the introduction of synthetic fertilizers at the end of the 19th centuryproduction of agriculture. Their application enhanced crop yields and sparked an agricultural revolution unlike anything the world had ever seen.In the near future, synthetic fertilizers are anticipated to continue to have a significant impa ct on human life, both positively and negatively. They are frequently utilized for producing all t ypes of crops and are essential to plant growth. The significance of synthetic fertilizers is their ability to provide the soil w

Some Metal Ions Complexes With Azo [4-((8-hydroxyquinolin-7- yl)-N(4-methylisoxazol-3-yl)benzenesulfonamide] Synthesis, Characterization, Thermal Study and Antioxidant Activity
...Show More Authors

A new azo (LH) ligand was prepared by coupling reaction between, diazonium salt of Sulfamethoxazole, and 8-hydroxyquinoline in a process called diazotization process resulting in azo-ligand [4-((8-hydroxyquinolin-7-yl)- N(4-methylisoxazol-3-yl) benzene sulfonamide]. The azo ligand was identified by using spectroscopic techniques to detect and characterize the formation of ligand and complexes of Ni2+, Pt4+, Pd2+, and Rh3+ metal ions, and to determine the chelating behavior of ligand and also its bind position. All complexes have a [1:1] [M-ligand] ratio and all complexes are nonelectrolytes and most of the complexes have octahedral geometry, while Pd2+complex gave square planer geometry and Ni2+ complex indicate tetrahedral geometry. Numerical investigation on heat transfer enhancement and turbulent flow characteristics in a high aspect ratio rectangular duct roughened by intersecting ribs with inclined ribs
...Show More Authors

In this study, the effect of intersecting ribs with inclined ribs on the heat transfer and flow characteristics of a high aspect ratio duct has been numerically investigated. The Relative roughness pitch (P/e) is 10 and the Reynolds number range from 35,700 to 72,800. ANSYS (Fluent-Workbench 18.0) software has been utilized to solve the Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations with the Standard k-ε turbulence model. Three ribbed models have been used in this study. Model 1 which is a just inclined ribs, Model 2 which has a single longitudinal rib at the center with inclined ribs and Model 3 which has two longitudinal ribs at the sides. The results showed that the heat transfer rate has been enhanced when the int

Characterization of flow cytometric immuno-phenotyping of acute myeloid leukemia with minimal differentiation and acute T-cell lymphoblastic leukemia: A retrospective cross-sectional study
...Show More Authors

Background: Acute leukemias (ALs) are a heterogeneous group of malignancies with various clinical, morphological, immunophenotypic, and molecular characteristics. Distinguishing between lymphoid and myeloid leukemia is often performed by flow cytometry. This study aimed to evaluate the immunophenotypic characterization and expression of immuno-markers in both acute myeloid leukemia (AML-M0) and acute T-cell lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL).

Methods: A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted in the Pathology Department/Teaching Laboratories/Medical City/Iraq and included all patients newly diagnosed with AL from 5 January to 10 December 2018. Immunophenotypic analysis wa

Sequencing of IL-10 Gene Promoter for -592 (A/C) and -1082 (A/G) Positions in Iraqi Children Patients with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus
...Show More Authors

We studied the relationship between DNA sequencing of interleukin-10 (IL-10) gene promoter for -1082 (A/G) and -592 (A/C) positions with the concentration of IL-10 in blood serum of Iraqi children with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1D). Fifty blood serum samples collected from children with age ranged between 7-12 years. Thirty-five blood samples collected from patient children with T1D, and compared with 15 healthy children age matched as control sample. The results revealed decreasing in anti-inflammatory IL-10 concentration in T1D patient’s blood serum (0.068 Pg/ml) as compared with the control sample (0.111 Pg/ml). No significant differences were found in interleukin concentration between the studied samples when they analyzed with the M
