1. identify the effectiveness of teaching the University of Tikrit from the standpoint of their students
2. to identify the differences in the effectiveness of teaching the University of Tikrit from the standpoint of their students according to the following variables: Specialization (humanitarian, scientific) sex (males - females)
For the purpose of achieving the objectives of this study, the researcher adopted on the scale prepared by researchers Alazerjaoa and Kazem 2010
The researcher found that the efficiency of teaching the professors of the University of Tikrit enjoys a good level, but it was not to be of high quality, as the researcher found that there were no differences in university professors values depending on the variable sex while there were differences in the assessment of the evaluation process depending on the variable of specialization and in favor of Specialization scientific

Show MoreThe availability of low- cost adsorbent namely Al-Khriet ( a substance found in the legs of Typha Domingensis) as an agricultural waste material, for the removal of lead and cadmium from aqueous solution was investigated. In the batch tests experimental parameters were studied, including adsorbent dosage between (0.2-1) g, initial metal ions concentration between (50-200) ppm (single and binary) and contact time (1/2-6) h. The removal percentage of each ion onto Al-Khriet reached equilibrium in about 4 hours. The highest adsorption capacity was for lead (96%) while for cadmium it was (90%) with 50 ppm ions concentration, 1 g dosage of adsorbent and pH 5.5. In phytotoxicity test, the plant of Iresine herbstii was exposed to remove nickel from simulated wastewater using two different ratios (mass of plant to the mass of nickel) (,Rp/Ni) for 21 days with sub-surface batch system.
