This paper is concerned with the numerical blow-up solutions of semi-linear heat equations, where the nonlinear terms are of power type functions, with zero Dirichlet boundary conditions. We use explicit linear and implicit Euler finite difference schemes with a special time-steps formula to compute the blow-up solutions, and to estimate the blow-up times for three numerical experiments. Moreover, we calculate the error bounds and the numerical order of convergence arise from using these methods. Finally, we carry out the numerical simulations to the discrete graphs obtained from using these methods to support the numerical results and to confirm some known blow-up properties for the studied problems.

The main objective of this study is to experimentally investigate the effect of the CMC polymeric drag reducer on the pressure drop occurred along the annulus of the wellbore in drilling operation and investigate the optimum polymer concentration that give the minimum pressure drop. In this paper the Galerkin method is used to prove the existence and uniqueness theorem for the solution of the state vector of the triple linear elliptic partial differential equations for fixed continuous classical optimal control vector. Also, the existence theorem of a continuous classical optimal control vector related with the triple linear equations of elliptic types is proved. The existence of a unique solution for the triple adjoint equations related with the considered triple of the state equations is studied. The Fréchet derivative of the cost function is derived. Finally the theorem of necessary conditions for optimality of the considered problem is proved.

Boubaker polynomials have been utilized to reduce these problems into quadratic programming problem.
