A new design of manifold flow injection (FI) coupling with a merging zone technique was studied for sulfamethoxazole determination spectrophotometrically. In the present work, it had been measured the concentration of radon gas (C_Rn) for (10) samples of cement used in constructions before and after painting them using enamel paint, purchased from the local markets, to see the extent of its ability to reduce emissions of Rn-222 in the air. These samples were obtained from different sources available in the local markets in Baghdad and other provinces. The measurements were done by the American-made detector (RAD7). The results showed that the highest C_Rn in the air emitted from cement samples after coating was in the cement sample (Iranian origin) where the concentration was (58.27 Bq/m³) while the lowest C_Rn was found in building material samples

Video copyright protection is the most generally acknowledged method of preventing data piracy. This paper proposes a blind video copyright protection technique based on the Fast Walsh Hadamard Transform (FWHT), Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT), and Arnold Map. The proposed method chooses only frames with maximum and minimum energy features to host the watermark. The present study was designed to investigate the effect of different concentrations of Maxxthor on some hematological and oxidative stress parameters in male albino rats.Twenty male rats with age of 6-8 weeks and weight of 200-250gm were equally divided into four groups as follow:G1 treated with normal saline as control group,while G2,G3andG4groups were treated with(0.01,0.1,1)mg\kg body weight of Maxxthor respectively for 40 days.The following hematological parameters were measured: red blood cell(RBC),hemoglobin (Hb),white blood cell(WBC), platelets(PLT),malondialdehyde(MDA),glutathione(GSH),catalase and vitamin E. The hematological parameters results revealed highly significant(p<0.01)decreasein RBC and H,while a highly significant(p<0.
