Standard Characteristics of (Philip Carter) Tests of Mental Agility Estimated According To the Classical Measurement Theory among University Students
...Show More Authors

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to extract the psychometric properties of Philip Carter's tests (for mental agility) according to the classical measurement theory. To achieve these goals, the researcher took a number of scientific steps to analyze Philip Carter's tests (for mental agility) according to the classical measurement theory. The researcher translated Philip Carter's (mental agility) tests from English into Arabic and then he translated them conversely. For the purpose of statistical analysis of paragraphs of the Philip Carter tests (mental agility) to extract the psychometric properties, the tests were applied to a sample of (1000) male and female students who were selected by cluster sampling method. The psychometric properties of the tests were extracted according to the classical measurement theory by calculating the difficulty and discrimination coefficient of the paragraph, where no paragraph was excluded according to these two criteria. These two indicators were verified by the reliability of the tests according to the method of analysis of variance by using the Hoyt equation. The stability of the tests was calculated through two indicators: the variance ratio to estimate the stability of the test and the test information function for the purpose of estimating the stability of ability. The results of the study indicated that the classical measurement theory can be used in developing tests thorough analysis according to the parameters of difficulty, discrimination, and item validity, as well as the standard characteristics of the tests, and achieving high independence in measurement. There is great accuracy in the procedures applied in preparing Philip Carter's tests of mental agility according to the classical measurement theory. In light of this, the researcher reached a number of recommendations and suggestions.

S-maximal Submodules

Throughout this paper R represents a commutative ring with identity and all R-modules M are unitary left R-modules. In this work we introduce the notion of S-maximal submodules as a generalization of the class of maximal submodules, where a proper submodule N of an R-module M is called S-maximal, if whenever W is a semi essential submodule of M with N ? W ? M, implies that W = M. Various properties of an S-maximal submodule are considered, and we investigate some relationships between S-maximal submodules and some others related concepts such as almost maximal submodules and semimaximal submodules. Also, we study the behavior of S-maximal submodules in the class of multiplication modules. Farther more we give S-Jacobson radical of ri

Intelligent Dust Monitoring System Based on IoT
...Show More Authors

Dust is a frequent contributor to health risks and changes in the climate, one of the most dangerous issues facing people today. Desertification, drought, agricultural practices, and sand and dust storms from neighboring regions bring on this issue. Deep learning (DL) long short-term memory (LSTM) based regression was a proposed solution to increase the forecasting accuracy of dust and monitoring. The proposed system has two parts to detect and monitor the dust; at the first step, the LSTM and dense layers are used to build a system using to detect the dust, while at the second step, the proposed Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and Internet of Things (IoT) model is used as a forecasting and monitoring model. The experiment DL system

In-betweenness and Liminal Selfin Amiri Baraka's Dutchman
...Show More Authors

This study deals with the thems of "in-betweeness" in the modern Afro-American Drama, drawing upon the accumulated literature of the colonial and postcolonial studies. In-betweeness appears in these studies under the canopy of the terms mimicry, hybridity and liminality which refer to a transformative, in-between state of being. It also refers to themutual relations holdingbetween man and his cultural space.

This concept is fitting the Afro-American playwright Amiri Baraka's plays and his violent, revolutionary theatre. In his play Dutchman (1964), Clay, the protagonist, is a good example of the two-ness or in-betweeness. He finds difficulty choosing between the ethnocentric white culture and the black culture. He allows

Promoting Physiological Transformations in Cinema
...Show More Authors

Cinema has always addressed human issues from diverse perspectives. It covered biographies, philosophy, history, war, and sci-fi. These disciplines promote economic and artistic success. Since the 1930s, cinema has explored sexual transformation. These films have defended homosexuals, explored how homosexuality causes AIDS, and discussed transgenderism for decades. As widely recognised, animated films for adults and children worldwide have included this trend. This study will demonstrate how hormone imbalance affects sexual function. This study, "Promoting Physiological Transformations in Cinema," comprises four chapters: The first chapter (methodological framework) covers the study problem, "What are the foundations and necessities of p

Almost and Strongly Almost Approximately Nearly Quasi Compactly Packed Modules
...Show More Authors

In this paper, we present the almost approximately nearly quasi compactly packed (submodules) modules as an application of the almost approximately nearly quasiprime submodule. We give some examples, remarks, and properties of this concept. Also, as the strong form of this concept, we introduce the strongly, almost approximately nearly quasi compactly packed (submodules) modules. Moreover, we present the definitions of almost approximately nearly quasiprime radical submodules and almost approximately nearly quasiprime radical submodules and give some basic properties of these concepts that will be needed in section four of this research. We study these two concepts extensively.

Mobile position estimation using artificial neural network in CDMA cellular systems
...Show More Authors

Using the Neural network as a type of associative memory will be introduced in this paper through the problem of mobile position estimation where mobile estimate its location depending on the signal strength reach to it from several around base stations where the neural network can be implemented inside the mobile. Traditional methods of time of arrival (TOA) and received signal strength (RSS) are used and compared with two analytical methods, optimal positioning method and average positioning method. The data that are used for training are ideal since they can be obtained based on geometry of CDMA cell topology. The test of the two methods TOA and RSS take many cases through a nonlinear path that MS can move through that region. The result

It is a common Knowledge that adverbs in Turkish languages can modify verbs, adjectives, nouns or other adverbs. Moreover, adverbs can determine the meanings of nouns and verbs in a sentence as far as time, place, manner, quantity and interrogative are concerned. The present study debates adverbs’ functions in Namiq Kamal’s play Vatan yahut Silistre.

The study sheds light on the author’s use of the adverbs to describe the required theatrical actions of the play  and to convey his reflections and thoughts easily to the auidence. One of the main hindrances encountered in conducting the study is the shortage of the  upto date academic resources necessary for
