The Effectiveness of Electronic System Based on Cloud Computing to Develop Electronic Tasks for Students of the University of Mosul
...Show More Authors

The present research aims to design an electronic system based on cloud computing to develop electronic tasks for students of the University of Mosul. Achieving this goal required designing an electronic system that includes all theoretical information, applied procedures, instructions, orders for computer programs, and identifying its effectiveness in developing Electronic tasks for students of the University of Mosul. Accordingly, the researchers formulated three hypotheses related to the cognitive and performance aspects of the electronic tasks. To verify the research hypotheses, a sample of (91) students is intentionally chosen from the research community, represented by the students of the college of education for humanities and college of education for pure sciences. The researchers adopt the experimental design of one group. The sample has been taught through the electronic system according to study plans developed by the researcher. To measure the dependent variable, this requires formulating two instruments: the first is a test that measured the cognitive aspect of the electronic tasks that consisted of two questions, the first included (40) multiple-choices and the second is a matching and pairing type with ten items. The second instrument is a performance test for electronic tasks of (25) items that included (166) performance steps. The research experiment starts with the beginning of the first semester of the academic year (2020/2021). It began on Tuesday (5/1/2021) and lasts for (9) weeks approximately to be finished on Sunday (7/3/2021). The results revealed that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of the cognitive test for electronic tasks for the research sample in the pre and post applications in favor of the post-application. There is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of the performance test for electronic tasks for the research sample in the pre and post applications in favor of the post-application. Thus, the researcher came out with several recommendations and suggestions.

The Impact of Two Proposed Strategies Based on Active Learning on Students' Achievement at the Computer and Their Social Intelligence
...Show More Authors

Active learning is a teaching method that involves students actively participating in activities, exercises, and projects within a rich and diverse educational environment. The teacher plays a role in encouraging students to take responsibility for their own education under their scientific and pedagogical supervision and motivates them to achieve ambitious educational goals that focus on developing an integrated personality for today’s students and tomorrow’s leaders. It is important to understand the impact of two proposed strategies based on active learning on the academic performance of first-class intermediate students in computer subjects and their social intelligence. The research sample was intentionally selected, consis

Addressing the Press Websites of Cyclone “Laban” Disaster in Yemen
...Show More Authors

This study has sought to explore the Yemeni online news websites’ treatment of the tropical storm “Luban” which hit the coasts of al-Mahra governorate, and other parts of the Yemeni Eastern and Southern governorates in October 2018. The study also examined how the Yemeni news websites covered the disaster on the basis of the problematic situation model. The study’s findings revealed a form of logical balance in distributing the coverage of the disaster in its different phases. The coverage was a bit more focused on the disaster phase than the pre- and post-disaster phases. Additionally, the websites paid more attention to precautionary measures and the disaster’s humanitarian and material losses. The findings reveal that the ne

Improving the Durability of Streak and Thermal Insulation of Petroleum Pipes by Using Polymeric Based Paint System: Polymer Matrix Composites have several and wide applications
...Show More Authors

This research deals with increasing the hardening and insulating the petroleum pipes against the conditions and erosion of different environments. So, basic material of epoxy has been mixed with Ceramic Nano Zirconia reinforcement material 35 nm with the percentages  (0,1,2,3,4,5) %, whereas the paint basis of broken petroleum pipes was used  to paint on it, then it was cut into dimensions (2 cm. × 2 cm.) and 0.3cm high. After the paint and percentages are completed, the samples were immersed into the paint. Then, the micro-hardness was checked according to Vickers method and thermal inspection of paint, which contained (Thermal conduction, thermal flux and Thermal diffusivity), the density of the painted samples was calculate

The impact of infrastructure planning of complete street elements on the urban environment
...Show More Authors

In contemporary cities, the expansion of the use of vehicles has led to the deterioration of the urban environment. To counter this, many concepts and strategies emerged that attempted to regulate mobility in cities and limit its effects. The concept of a "complete street" is one of the modern trends concerned with diversifying means of transportation and reducing the disadvantages of mechanical transportation methods This paper discusses the role that complete streets can play in developing the urban environment in the Alyarmok District of Baghdad, which suffers from traffic congestion and its associated problems. In this study, 104 people were surveyed in the Alyarmok region, and the linear regression method was used to analyze their op

Magnetic Shielding, Aromaticity, Antiaromaticity and Bonding in the Low‐Lying Electronic States of S 2 N 2
...Show More Authors

Aromaticity, antiaromaticity and chemical bonding in the ground (S0), first singlet excited (S1) and lowest triplet (T1) electronic states of disulfur dinitride, S2N2, were investigated by analysing the isotropic magnetic shielding, σiso(r), in the space surrounding the molecule for each electronic state. The σiso(r) values were calculated by state-optimized CASSCF/cc-pVTZ wave functions with 22 electrons in 16 orbitals constructed from gauge-including atomic orbitals (GIAOs). The S1 and T1 electronic states were confirmed as 11Au and 13B3u, respectively, through linear response CC3/aug-cc-pVTZ calculations of the vertical excitation energies for eight singlet (S1–S8) and eight triplet (T1–T8) electronic states. The aromaticities of S
