The aim of the current research is to explore the health, psychological, and social implications of Internet addiction. Internet addiction is a new type of addiction, which negatively affects an individual’s life and creates social problems, psychological and nervous disorders. The research is divided into three sections: The first section is devoted to the definition of the research and includes the research problem, its importance in addition to the objectives, and the search terms were defined in it. The second section included the concept of addiction on the Internet and the causes, symptoms of addiction, forms, and previous studies were reviewed. As for the third topic, it deals with the theories explaining Internet addiction and the health, psychological and social effects. The research came out with conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions.
The current research aims to determine the impact of the cognitive reconstruction program on the development of psychological hardness among middle school students through the experimental verification of three hypotheses. This study aimed to assess orthodontic postgraduate students’ use of social media during the COVID-19 lockdown. Ninety-four postgraduate students (67 master’s students and 27 doctoral students) were enrolled in the study and asked to fill in an online questionnaire by answering questions regarding their use of social media during the COVID-19 lockdown. The frequency distributions and percentages were calculated using SPSS software. The results showed that 99% of the students used social media. This study identifies the contribution of some positive variables (happiness, optimism, and hope) to the level of psychological health in the practitioners of the nursing profession in Algeria, a total of (38) male and female nurses were employed as research sample. The researcher used a scale to measure happiness, optimism, hope, and psychological health.
