The mixed ligand complexes of Schiff base ligand (Z)-2-(((4-bromo-2-methylphenyl) imino) methyl)-4-methylphenol (L) with some metals ion (II); Mn(1), Co(2), Ni(3), Cu(4), Zn(5) Cd(6) and Hg(7) and 1,10-Phenanthroline (phen) were Synthesis and characterized by the mass and 1HNMR spectrometry (ligand Schiff base), the FTIR, UV-visible and the flame atomic absorption (A.A) spectrum, the C.H.N analysis and the chlorine content, in addition to measuring the magnetic sensitivity of the complexes. In this paper, Bayes estimators of the parameter of Maxwell distribution have been derived along with maximum likelihood estimator. The non-informative priors; Jeffreys and the extension of Jeffreys prior information has been considered under two different loss functions, the squared error loss function and the modified squared error loss function for comparison purpose. A simulation study has been developed in order to gain an insight into the performance on small, moderate and large samples.
