This study aimed at investigating the level of social skills and its relationship with self-regulation among gifted students according to the academic stage and gender. The sample consisted of (417) male and female students at King Abdullah II School for Excellence in Salt, Jordan. Two instruments were used to collect the data; A scale of social skills and a scale of self-regulation. The results revealed that the level of social skills was high among gifted students. There were statistically significant differences in the social skills among gifted students according to their academic stage in favor of the secondary stage and according to their gender in favor of female students. There were statistically significant differences in social skills sub-scales: (Self-control, Cooperation, and Work habits) due to the academic stage in favor of the secondary stage, and according to their gender in favor of females in (Cooperation and Work habits), male students in (Self-control). In addition, there were statistically significant correlation between social skills and self-regulation. In the light of these results the researcher recommends that maintaining social skills among gifted students especially males in the Primary academic Stage by focusing on development self-organization activities.
This work is devoted to define new generalized gamma and beta functions involving the recently suggested seven-parameter Mittag-Leffler function, followed by a review of all related special cases. In addition, necessary investigations are affirmed for the new generalized beta function, including, Mellin transform, differential formulas, integral representations, and essential summation relations. Furthermore, crucial statistical application has been realized for the new generalized beta function.
This Study aims at identifying the attitudes of Masses Media students in Baghdad university toward marriage and the differences of this variable according to sex and the grade. The sample consists of (160) male and Females students, where the questionnaire consists of (40) items’ after achieving their reliability and constancy.
The results show that the attitudes of the students are Positive, there are no differences in the attitudes toward marriage according to sex variable (males and females) and there are differences in the variable of grade toward marriage for the First Class.
