The legislative confrontation of the crime of benefiting public money in Iraq -A comparative study-

The legislator sought to provide the greatest protection for public funds. The wisdom of this is clear and is one of the necessities of running the public utilities regularly and steadily. The waste of public money and its lack of public facilities impede the provision of its services and the delay of services and hindering access to the public. In Iraq, services are lagging behind and almost a collapse in service.

Hence, the legislator has created a special protection for the employees because of the importance of the role played by this group as they represent the state with all its institutions and to enable them to perform their duties. To make the acts committed against them in the performance of their duties or to cause them to be grounds for aggravating punishment. On the other hand, the legislator considered that the employee's use of public money was a crime of aggravating circumstances, in breach of the Covenant of the Secretariat vis-à-vis the General Facility and the State in general

The Arabian killifish (Aphanius dispar) as a novel model for mycophysiological studies.

Abstract Candida albicans is a commensal fungal pathogen that grows in yeast and hyphal forms in the human gut. C. albicans causes mucosal and cutaneous diseases that can result in significant mortality following systematic infections and it also exhibits drug resistance. Zebrafish have been an excellent model to investigate C. albicans infections because of their transparency and the availability of many transgenic lines. However, there is a limitation in using zebrafish as a model because the fish embryos cannot survive at 37°C therefore it is not suitable for studying Candida infections at physiological relevant human body temperature. In this thesis, the normal embryonic development of Arabian killifish (A. dispar) is investigated, rev

Developing a real time navigation for the mobile robots at unknown environments

This research deals with the feasibility of a mobile robot to navigate and discover its location at unknown environments, and then constructing maps of these navigated environments for future usage. In this work, we proposed a modified Extended Kalman Filter- Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (EKF-SLAM) technique which was implemented for different unknown environments containing a different number of landmarks. Then, the detectable landmarks will play an important role in controlling the overall navigation process and EKF-SLAM technique’s performance. MATLAB simulation results of the EKF-SLAM technique come with better performance as compared with an odometry approach performance in terms of measuring the

Gallblabber Empyema with Pericholecystic Abscess around a Stone Nidus [Outside the Gallblabber]

Gallbladder disease is relatively common and its complications are seen every now and then. One of the rare complications is gallbladder perforation. In our case we were faced with a picture similar to perforation of the gallbladder upon surgical exploration, with empyema of gallbladder and pericholecystic abscess and a stonelocated between the gallbladder and the liver bed (inside the abscess) and no perforation in the gallbladder or fistula with the biliary tree could be discerned.

Proposing a General Formula for Evaluating the Parametric Cost Using MLR Method

This research takes up address the practical side by taking case studies for construction projects that include the various Iraqi governorates, as it includes conducting a field survey to identify the impact of parametric costs on construction projects and compare them with what was reached during the analysis and the extent of their validity and accuracy, as well as adopting the approach of personal interviews to know the reality of the state of construction projects. The results showed, after comparing field data and its measurement in construction projects for the sectors (public and private), the correlation between the expected and actual cost change was (97.8%), and this means that the data can be adopted in the re

Designing a Quality System using the Goals Programming Method -An Applied Research

Due to the continuous development in society and the multiplicity of customers' desires and their keeping pace with this development and their search for the quality and durability of the commodity that provides them with the best performance and that meets their needs and desires, all this has led to the consideration of quality as one of the competitive advantages that many industrial companies compete for and which are of interest to customers and are looking for. The research problem showed that the Diyala State Company for Electrical Industries relies on some simple methods and personal experience to monitor the quality of products and does not adopt scientific methods and modern programs. The aim of this research is to desi

Serum Zinc and Copper in Children with Febrile Seizures in Basrah,Iraq
Background:Trace elements are essential micronutrients that exist in very low concentrations in the body. They play an important role in various physiological processes and are crucial for proper functioning of the immune system. Many studies have shown that some micronutrients may have a role in febrile seizure
such as selenium, zinc and copper.
objectives :To determine the level of serum zinc and copper in children with febrile seizures and explore their
relation to selected patients' variables.

Non-polio Enterovirus Isolation in children with acute Flaccid Paralysis in Iraq

Aim This study is an overview of NPEV investigated during AFP surveillance programs for the period 2010–2017 in Iraq. Methods Stool samples from 4296 AFP cases and 2933 healthy contacts among children less than 15 years of age were processed for virus isolation as a part of AFP surveillance for the Global Polio Eradication Program in Iraq at National Polio Laboratory. NPEV detection was performed by virus isolation on cell culture according to WHO recommendations. Results The NPEV isolation rate was 14% of total AFP cases and 14.5% of healthy contacts. The infection rate was higher in males than females with a male/female ratio of 1.5: 1. The highest NPEV infection rate was observed among the children aged 1-2 years and decrease significa
