The inhibitive action of pomegranate peel as a plant source the corrosion of carbon-steel in phosphoric acid solutions was studied using the weight-loss method. Organic compounds present in natural materials are successfully used to reduce the rate of corrosion because they are cheap, renewable and effective. The results showed that the inhibition potency was enhanced with increasing increasing the amount of the inhibitor and the immersion time but it decreased with the increase of the concentration of the acid solution. The results also revealed a gradual increase in the corrosion rate with the increase of temperature, while the corrosion protection efficiency and surface coverage decreased.

This work presents a five-period chaotic system called the Duffing system, in which the effect of changing the initial conditions and system parameters d, g and w, on the behavior of the chaotic system, is studied. This work provides a complete analysis of system properties such as time series, attractors, and Fast Fourier Transformation Spectrum (FFT). Abstract: The natural dye, Curcumin, was extracted from Curcuma longa using as a sensitizer in two types of dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC), and their characteristics were studied. The absorption spectrum of the dye solutions, as well as the wavelength of the maximum absorbance of the dye loaded TiO2 film has been studied. The X-Ray diffraction pattern of TiO2 film made with Doctor-Blading technique shown that the grain size of TiO2 was equal to be 40 nm.    The inhibition of mild steel corrosion in 1.0M HCl by 1-propanol and the synergistic effect of potassium iodide (KI) was investigated using weight loss and polarization techniques in the temperature range (30 ‒ 50) ̊ C.
