Comparison between Linear and Non-linear ANN Models for Predicting Water Quality Parameters at Tigris River
...Show More Authors

In this research, Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) technique was applied in an attempt to predict the water levels and some of the water quality parameters at Tigris River in Wasit Government for five different sites. These predictions are useful in the planning, management, evaluation of the water resources in the area. Spatial data along a river system or area at different locations in a catchment area usually have missing measurements, hence an accurate prediction. model to fill these missing values is essential.
The selected sites for water quality data prediction were Sewera, Numania , Kut u/s, Kut d/s, Garaf observation sites. In these five sites models were built for prediction of the water level and water quality parameters. the following (Biological Oxygen Demand( ), Phosphate,( ) Sulfate(), Nitrate( ), Calcium(Ca), Magnesium(Mg), Total Hardness(TH), Potassium(K), Sodium (Na), Chloride (CL), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Electric conductivity (EC), Alkalinity(ALK)). The ANN models tried herein were the Multisite- Multivariate ANN models (5-sites, 14 variables), five models were built, one for each of the five stations as the missing data station. The linear
ANN (traditional) models fail to make the prediction of all variables with high correlation coefficient simultaneously. Hence a non- linear input ANN model was developed herein and believed to be a new modification in ANN modeling. It was found that the ANNs have the ability to predict water level and water quality parameters at all the sites with a good degree of accuracy, the range of correlation coefficients obtained are (12.9%-97.2%) for linear models, while for this model with Non-linear terms, The range of correlation coefficients obtained is (71.8%-99.6%).

A Study on Transportation Models in Their Minimum and Maximum Values with Applications of Real Data
...Show More Authors

The purpose of this paper is to apply different transportation models in their minimum and maximum values by finding starting basic feasible solution and finding the optimal solution. The requirements of transportation models were presented with one of their applications in the case of minimizing the objective function, which was conducted by the researcher as real data, which took place one month in 2015, in one of the poultry farms for the production of eggs

The time series of statistical methods mission followed in this area analysis method, Figuring certain displayed on a certain period of time and analysis we can identify the pattern and the factors affecting them and use them to predict the future of the phenomenon of values, which helps to develop a way of predicting the development of the economic development of sound

The research aims to select the best model to predict the number of infections with hepatitis Alvairose models using Box - Jenkins non-seasonal forecasting in the future.

Data were collected from the Ministry of Health / Department of Health Statistics for the period (from January 2009 until December 2013) was used

Controls Scanning on the slippers a study fiqhiat Comparison

The subject of this research is an important topic, which is frequently repeated, and people need to know its wisdom, and has made it in front and the preface and three detectives, showed through discussion the meaning of the survey on the socks, its wisdom, its rules and conditions, and the duration of the survey on it, spoiled and reasoned and compared to the doctrinal doctrines, And the most correct statement of words I have concluded with a number of things, as follows:

 1. The need to ensure that the slippers are clean, visible and inwa

Baysian and NonBaysian Methods to Estimate the two parameters of Logistic Distribution
...Show More Authors

In this paper ,the problem of point estimation for the two parameters of logistic distribution has been investigated using simulation technique. The rank sampling set estimator method which is one of the Non_Baysian procedure and Lindley approximation estimator method which is one of the Baysian method were used to estimate the parameters of logistic distribution. Comparing between these two mentioned methods by employing mean square error measure and mean absolute percentage error measure .At last simulation technique used to generate many number of samples sizes to compare between these methods.

Observation of Consolidation and Permeability Parameters of Soil Stabilized By Cutback Asphalt
...Show More Authors

For design purposes, it`s necessary to know the compression rate of soil layers which might be happened when it`s subjected to effective stresses. Also, it`s essential to know the rate of flow through soil mass specially for the design of marine structures or earth embankment. These two important behavior could be predicted from the coefficient of consolidation (Cv) and the coefficient of permeability (k). This study shows the effect of cutback asphalt stabilization on Cv and k and other compressibility factors, the investigation was done for silty clay samples, specimens were prepared by mixing the soil with different percentage of asphalt from (0-10)% and subjected to one-dimensional consolidation test of 50mm diameter and 20mm height wer

Some Genetic Parameters and Path Coefficient of Three-Way Crosses in Maize
...Show More Authors
Abstract
Correlation and path coefficient analysis were worked out for ten morphological traits in 30 three-way crosses of maize. Phenotypic and genotypic correlation analysis indicated that ear length; row numbers per ear, grain numbers per row, leaf area and leaves numbers had a positive significant correlation with grain yield per plant. Further partitioning of correlation coefficients into direct and indirect effects showed that traits days to silking, row numbers per row and leaves numbers had a positive direct effect on grain yield per plant. The traits ear length, grain numbers per row and leaf area had a maximum total effect on grain yield. Furthermore, PCA analysis has gave interested
... Show More
