In this work, chemical and thermal treatment were used to enhance silica extract on the purity of rice husk and to reduce the impurities associated with the extraction of silica. The thermal degradation of rice husk was studied. The characteristics and thermal degradation behavior of rice husk which investigated using thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA). Hydrochloric acid was used to soak the rice husk and the study of leaching influence is followed by XRF tests for samples before and after the combustion process. The current study aims to find a new plan to manage the water quality of the western part of the Hammar Marsh to reduce the salts that cause problems for the marshes and preserve their environmental life by isolating the southwestern part of the Hammar Marsh by closing the outlet under the railway embankment. The outlet is discharging saline water to the east-western part of Al Hammar Marsh. After isolating the southwestern part of the marsh, a new outlet is proposed. A new ligand [N-(4-methoxy benzoyl amino)-thioxo methyl ] leucine (MBL) was prepared from the reaction of (4-methoxy benzoyl isothiocyanate with leucine acid in molar ratio (l:l), it was characterized by elemental analysis (C.H.N.S), FT-IR, UV-Vis, 1H and 13C-NMR. The complexes of the bivalent ions (Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg ) have been prepared and characterized too. The structural was established by elemental analysis (C.H.N.S), FT-IR, UV-Vis spectra, conductivity measurements atomic absorption and magnetic susceptibility and determination of molar ration (M:L). Materials and Methods: The study was conducted on 10 pregnant Albino Rats (Rattus rattus) divided equally into two groups, control and experiment groups. Finding a new source of resistance is important to reduce the use of synthetic pesticides, which can meet the global need of suppressing pollution. In this study, the resistance of eight eggplant cultivars to Aphis gossypii was evaluated. Results of the current study highlighted that the cultivar Long-Green has a very strong resistance after 14 days post infestation whereas Pearl-Round and White-Casper cultivars were susceptible. The rest of the tested cultivars (Green-oblong, Purple-panter, Paris, Ashbilia, and Barcelona) had mild resistance.
