Optimum Reinforcement Depth Ratio for Sandy Soil Enhancement to Support Ring Footing Subjected to a Combination of Inclined-Eccentric Load
...Show More Authors

This work investigates the impacts of eccentric-inclined load on ring footing performance resting on treated and untreated weak sandy soil, and due to the reduction in the footing carrying capacity due to the combinations of eccentrically-inclined load, the geogrid was used as reinforcement material. Ring radius ratio and reinforcement depth ratio parameters were investigated. Test outcomes showed that the carrying capacity of the footing decreases with the increment in the eccentric-inclined load and footing radius ratio. Furthermore, footing tilt and horizontal displacement increase with increasing the eccentricity and inclination angle, respectively. At the same time, the increment in the horizontal displacement due to the inclined load reduces with increasing the eccentricity ratio.

The results also revealed that the optimum radius ratio under eccentrically-inclined load is n=0.30, the optimum depth ratio is U/B=0.50, and at the optimum depth ratio and with eccentricity ratio of 0.16 and for the inclination angles of 5, 10, 15 the improvement in the carrying capacity was by (115.1%, 126.5%, and 131.5%) for the inclination angles of respectively.

Vertical Resistance and Its Relationship with Speed-Strength and Biomechanical Variables During the Takeoff Phase and the Performance of Selected Activities in Individual and Team Sports
...Show More Authors

Jumping ability is a fundamental variable in many sports, as its execution requires an integration of muscular strength Q1 and certain biomechanical variables. This is particularly evident in gymnastics jumping events and jump shots in ball games, both of which rely on a high level of vertical resistance. Vertical resistance serves as an indicator of an athlete’s ability to overcome their body weight while counteracting gravitational force to achieve optimal performance. As such, it is considered one of the key factors in movements that demand explosive power and speed. The researchers believe that despite the significant relationship between vertical resistance, speed-strength of the arms and legs, and certain biomechanical varia

At the conclusion of my research for this readiness, I am ready to show the most important results I have reached, of which I can mention the most important:
Sheikh Al-Safti was a memorizer and jurist, and all the scientific strokes that he left behind for subsequent generations were in the disciplines of Hanafi jurisprudence, and this does not obscure the opinions of the jurists of other schools of thought. But among them: that these lines continue on a group of fatwas for the later in the gold of Abu Hanifa, may God have mercy on him, and then the books of fatwas usually refer to what is below the evidence.

He has no shock other than the knowledge of jurisprudence; And for this reason, it is due to the fact that the s

A new chelate complexes of Co(II),Ni(II),Zn(II) and Cd(II) were prepared by reacting these ions with the ligand 2-[4- Carboxy methyl phenyl azo]-4,5-diphenyl imidazole (4CMeI) The preparation were conducted after fixing the optimum conditions such as (pH) and concentration .UV- visible spectra of these complex solutions were studied for a range of (pH) and concentration which obey lampert-Beers Law.The structures of complexes were deduced according to mole ratio method which were obtained from the spectroscopic studies of the complex solutions .The ratios of metal: ligand obtained were (1:2) for all complexes..(UV-Vis) absorption spectra and The infrared spectra of the chelating complexes were studied ,this may indicate that coordination be

استقصاء تمييز ونطق طلبة الكليات العراقيين متعلمي اللغة الإنكليزية لغة اجنبية لتسلسلات الأصوات الإنكليزية الصحيحة Investigating the Iraqi EFL Students’ Recognition and Production of English Consonant Sequences
...Show More Authors

English allows for consonant sequences at the beginning of words, which poses a challenge for speakers of other languages, especially those whose native languages do not contain such sequences, such as Arabic. Therefore, this study aims to investigate students’ recognition and production of initial consecutive consonants in relation to gender, and the significance of the statistical differences between students in recognition and pronunciation of consecutive consonants. Consequently, a cohort of fifty-two Iraqi college students (18 males and 34 females) were selected as a sample. A multiple-choice test of two phases was used as a research instrument. The results showed that females outperformed males in recognizing and producing c

STYLISTIC FEATURES OF MITIGATING EXPRESSIONS IN RUSSIAN FEMALE SPEECH (BASED ON MATERIAL FROM THE RUSSIAN PRESS)السمات الاسلوبية لعبارات التلطف في الخطاب النسوي الروسي (الصحافة الروسية انموذجا)

This study analyzes the stylistic features of euphemisms in feminist discourse, based on material from the contemporary Russian press of the period (2015–2025). The central issue lies in how the linguistic devices used to soften the harshness and confrontation in discourse contribute to shaping a distinct feminine communicative style within media discourse, where the context necessitates combining the expression of the author\\'s position with maintaining a harmonious interaction with the wider audience. This study aims to uncover and classify the stylistic mechanisms of euphemism at the lexical-grammatical, syntactic, and pragmatic levels, as well as to determine its role in constructing gendered linguistic behavior. The research finding
