The monogeneans Gyrodactylus dzhalilovi Ergens & Ashurova, 1984, G. magnus Konovalov, 1967 and G. matovi Ergens & Kakachava-Avramova, 1966 were recorded in this study for the first time in Iraq from gills of the common carp Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus, 1758 collected from Tigris River in Baghdad city. The experimental study showed the use of closed cavity wall (the thickness of the cavity 5cm) made a percentage reduction in the cooling load caused by heat gain from the wall by (21.5 %) compared with the conventional wall. also the thermal resistance of the closed cavity was an average (0.2 m².^oC/W).

Objectives: Our aim of the study was to find out the causes of vomiting in different age group, the improper management of vomiting in daily practice and to emphasis on the usefulness of imaging study in the diagnosis.
Methods: A prospective study was carried out on patients presented with vomiting admitted to Children Welfare Teaching Hospital from the first of Dec. 2001 to the end of April 2002 .The age ranged between early neonatal periods to 12 years of age.

In this paper, the single scatter model for gamma backscatter densitometer has been used to investigate the materials of Halley’s nucleus. Monte Carlo simulation tool is used for the evaluation and calibration of gamma backscatter densitometer; and also used to calculate the bulk density. A set of parameters effecting detected count rate of γ – ray backscattering, mainly the source energy, the source – detector separation (sonde length), density and composition, were calculated.
Results obtained with the present method are compared with experimental data and the computed data may be considered entirely satisfactory.
