Simulation and Experimental Walking Pattern Generation for Two Types of Degrees of Freedom Bipedal Locomotion Robot
...Show More Authors

Humanoids or bipedal robots are other kinds of robots that have legs. The balance of humanoids is the general problem in these types when the other in the support phase and the leg in the swing phase. In this work, the walking pattern generation is studied by MATLAB for two types of degrees of freedom, 10 and 17 degrees of freedom. Besides, the KHR-2HV simulation model is used to simulate the experimental results by Webots. Similarly, Arduino and LOBOT LSC microcontrollers are used to program the bipedal robot. After the several methods for programming the bipedal robot by Arduino microcontroller, LOBOT LSC-32 driver model is the better than PCA 96685 Driver-16 channel servo driver for programming the bipedal walking robot. The results showed that this driver confirms the faster response than the Arduino microcontroller in walking the bipedal robot. The walking pattern generation results showed that the step height for 17 degrees of freedom bipedal robot increases approximately (20%) than 10 degrees of freedom bipedal robot, which decreases the step period by about (7%). Also, the time interval of the double support phase for 17 degrees of freedom bipedal robot increases approximately (11%) with decreases step length approximately (33% on X-axis) and (16% on Z-axis).

Evaluation of how laser photostimulation at two wavelengths alters the antimicrobial potential of Streptomycetes spp
...Show More Authors

The purpose of this study was to isolate and identify additional products produced by direct laser irradiation, as well as to ascertain if laser irradiation may stimulate the synthesis of antibiotic compounds in a local Streptomycetes (Strept). Moreover, we postulate the mechanisms by which lasers function within living bacterial cells and suggest that sequential photochemical reactions may transpire following a designated period of irradiation. Thiophene was found as one of the most significant clinical products with antibacterial and anticancer properties. To accomplish these objectives, we selected two isolates: Streptomyces thinghirensis strain S10 (Strept thin), which inherently synthesizes an antibacterial agent, and Streptomyces lien

. The Larsa dynasty was one of the contemporary Amorite dynasties that disputed sovereignty in the Old Babylonian era, along with other dynasties such as Isin - First Babylon - Eshnunna - Ashur - Mari - Uruk - Kish - Kisura - Kazalu and Manana. It can be considered the first of these dynasties, which were founded at the end of the era of the Third Ur Dynasty during the time of its last ruler, Ibi-Sin. It was founded by one of the sheikhs of the Amorite tribes. The rule of the Larsa dynasty lasted about 262 years, from 2025 BC to 1763 BC, during which 16 rulers and kings ruled, some of whom achieved wide fame and some of whom did not, depending on their strength and achievements, according to what has reached us through their date formulas

Re-assessment and tune-up gas condensate reservoir potential in Northern Iraq using material balance and reservoir simulation result techniques

Abstract<p>The main parameter that drives oil industry contract investment and set up economic feasibility study for approving field development plan is hydrocarbon reservoir potential. So a qualified experience should be deeply afforded to correctly evaluate hydrocarbons reserve by applying different techniques at each phase of field management, through collecting and using valid and representative data sources, starting from exploration phase and tune-up by development phase. Commonly, volumetric calculation is the main technique for estimate reservoir potential using available information at exploration stage which is quite few data; in most cases, this technique estimate big figure of reserve. Recently, microalgae have become a promising source in the production of biofuel. However, the cost of production is still the main obstacle to develop of this type of source. Although there are many extensive studies on the requirements provided for the cultivation of the microalgae, the study of the process, via the variables that affect the cultivation of microalgae, being still one of the important tasks to improve the production of biofuel. The present article is a serious attempt to investigate of use commercial fertilizer NPK (20:20:20+TE N: P: K) as considered a cheap nutrient medium in growth Chlorella vulgaris by comparison with traditional nutrient (Chu.10 medium). An Assessment of Salivary Leptin and Resistin Levels in Type Two Diabetic Patients with Chronic Periodontitis (A Comparative Study)
...Show More Authors

Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitusand chronic periodontitis hold a close relationship that has been the focus of many researches. Currently there is an appreciation to the role of adipose tissue-derived substances "the adipokines" in immune-inflammatory responses; also, there is an interest in using the simple non-invasive saliva in diagnosing and linking oral and general health problems. The current study aims to determine the periodontal health status in the chronic periodontitis patients with and without poorly or well controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus, measure the salivary levels of two adipokines "leptin and resistin", pH and flow rate and then correlate between these clinical periodontal, biochemical and physical parameters in eac

Simultaneous Numerical Determination of Two Time-dependent Coefficients in Second Order Parabolic Equation With Nonlocal Initial and Boundary Conditions
...Show More Authors

Background This study establishes a mathematically consistent and computational framework for the simultaneous identification of two time-dependent coefficients in a one-dimensional second-order parabolic partial differential equation. The considered problem is governed by nonlocal initial, boundary, and integral overdetermination conditions. Methods The direct problem is solved using the Crank-Nicolson finite difference method (FDM), which ensures unconditional stability and second-order accuracy in both spatial and temporal discretizations. The corresponding inverse problem is reformulated as a nonlinear regularized least-squares optimization problem and efficiently solved used the MATLAB subroutine

Research aims to develop a novel technique for segmental beam fabrication using plain concrete blocks and externally bonded Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers Laminates (CFRP) as a main flexural reinforcement. Six beams designed an experimentally tested under two-point loadings. Several parameters included in the fabrication of segmental beam studied such as; bonding length of carbon fiber reinforced polymers, the surface-to-surface condition of concrete segments, interface condition of the bonding surface, and thickness of epoxy resin layers. Test results of the segmental beams specimens compared with that gained from testing reinforced concrete beam have similar dimensions for validations. The results show the effectiven
