In the present survey 18 species of endo and ecto-parasites were recorded during the examination of 50 Mus musculus (Linnaeus, 1758) among 10 localities in Erbil city, of which 7 species were protozoan and as follows : Chilomastix bettencourti (da Fonseca 1915)82%; Giardia muris (Filice, 1952) 68%; Tritrichomonas muris (Grassi,1879)36%; Entamoeba histolytica (Schaudinn,1903) 24%; Entamoeba coli (Grassi,1879)32%; Eimeria sp. 28% and Trypanosoma musculi (Kendall,1906)2%; and 8 species were helminthes as follows: 4 Cestodes: Rodentolepis nana (von Siebold, 1852) 8%; Hymenolepis diminuta (Rudolphi, 1819)2%; larval stage of Echinococcus granulosus (Batsch, 1786)8%, Cysticercus fasciolaris (Rudolphi, 1808)6%, 4 Nematodes: Aspiculuris tetraptera (Nitzsch, 1821)8%; Syphacia obvelata (Rudolphi, 1802)36%; Syphacia muris (Yamaguti, 1935)2% and Trichuris muris (Schrank, 1788)10%; and 3 species of ectoparasites were diagnosed as follows: the Oriental rat flea Xenopsylla cheopis (Rothschild, 1903)2.0%, the spined rat louse Polyplax spinulosa (Burmeister, 1839)16.0%, and the mite Laelaps nuttalli (Hirst, 1916)4.0%. Endo-multiple infections had been noticed, as single (26%); double 50.0%; triple (22.0%) and tetra infections 2.0%. No significant differences were found between the sexes and weights of mice. The mice of Hayaskary and Langa were high infected with parasites. In the current study, we recorded the infection of the liver of Mus musculus with larval stage of Echinococcus granulosus (hydatid cyst) as the first natural infection in Iraq.
As the demands of sixth-generation (6G) networks escalate towards achieving high speeds and improved energy efficiency, there is an increasing need for intelligent and real-time adaptive solutions within the physical processing layer. This study proposes an innovative engineering framework based on an encapsulated architecture utilising FBGA (micro-distributed spherical array) technology, integrated with an internal artificial intelligence module, to achieve adaptive beamforming with high efficiency in dense wireless environments. The primary objective of this research is to develop an intelligent communication architecture that determines the optimal transmission angles and regulates power consumption in real-time by integrating ar

In This Paper, some semi- parametric spatial models were estimated, these models are, the semi – parametric spatial error model (SPSEM), which suffer from the problem of spatial errors dependence, and the semi – parametric spatial auto regressive model (SPSAR). Where the method of maximum likelihood was used in estimating the parameter of spatial error ( λ ) in the model (SPSEM), estimated the parameter of spatial dependence ( ρ ) in the model ( SPSAR ), and using the non-parametric method in estimating the smoothing function m(x) for these two models, these non-parametric methods are; the local linear estimator (LLE) which require finding the smoo

The current research aims to identify mental health and its role in promoting self-confidence and positive behavior of female university students. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach in this research. The researcher depended on the availability of sources and references, literature, and previous field studies to analyze and study all aspects related to mental health and its role in promoting self-confidence and positive behavior of university students and then expand its importance and identify the areas of mental health, self-confidence, positive behavior, and university. The second chapter included the concept of mental health, the importance of the study, the most important factors of health and psyc
The Combined Economic Emission Dispatch (CEED) problem is crucial for optimizing power system operation by minimizing costs and emissions while ensuring grid stability and meeting demand. This paper addresses the complex, nonlinear, and nonconvex nature of CEED, arising from factors like valve-point effects and transmission losses, which necessitates efficient metaheuristic algorithms. We introduce an Improved Zebra Optimization Algorithm (IMZOA), an enhanced bio-inspired technique integrating advanced adaptive foraging and dynamic defense mechanisms, along with a cubic function for CEED modeling, to improve search efficiency and convergence. IMZOA demonstrates significant numerical improvements, achieving up to a 0.80 % cost reduction for

The research aims to identify how personality traits influence athletes’ drive for success and tendency to avoid failure, ultimately shaping their competitive performance. The hypothe-sis envisioned using a descriptive-correlational design to collect data from 51 players based on the use of vali-dated psychological scales such as Big Five Personality Traits Scale and Sports Achievement Motivation Scale. Personality traits were assessed on their effect on achievement motivation using statistical analyses such as Pearson correlation, multiple regression, and ANOVA. The relation between extraversi

The high variability of meteorological conditions is not well represented by conventional atmospheric models, thus hampering forecasting skill and model robustness. In this work, an advanced hybridization of multi-population cuckoo search (HMPCS) algorithm with machine learning (ML) methods is developed to enhance the prediction performance of photovoltaic (PV) power forecasting with more reliability. Methods In this study, a hybrid modeling framework is proposed, called HMPCS–ML framework which captures the global search capacity of HMPCS and predictive power of sophisti

Four isolates of F. oxysporum f. sp. capsici Fo3, Fo6, Fo7 and Fo8 were obtained from diseased pepper plants that were collected from different pepper fields in Baghdad. Fo6 isolate that has high pathogenicity to pepper seeds, Trichoderma harzianum (Th) was tested in vitro against F. oxysporum f. sp. capsici showed a high inhibition rate for the isolate Fo6, the concentration of chelated iron Fe-EDDHA 0.5% reduced the radial growth of Fo6 whi

Show MoreLower limb Rehabilitation Robots (LLRRs) assist in therapeutic tasks that involve gait recovery and joint mobility recovery of the lower limbs, in patients recovering from neurologic injuries such as stroke as well as spinal cord injury. LLRRs can sometimes be driven by preprogrammed trajectories or Inverse Kinematics (IK) trajectories, which bring increased computational demand and command supported interaction. This paper proposes an interactive control framework for LLRRs using a hybrid mix of Forward Kinematics (FK) driven movement and an offline Voice Conversational Agent (VCA), based on the Vosk speech recognition engine. The framework proposed is modular in nature that is completely “local”, running offline with no need for the I
