The discussion in this paper gives several theorems and lemmas on the Sums of Squares of  consecutive Carol Numbers. These theorems are proved by using the definition of carol numbers and mathematical induction method. Here the matrix form and the recursive form of sum of squares of  consecutive Carol numbers is also given. The properties of the Carol numbers are also derived.

Background: Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) is a common disease in childhood. A linear relation between glycemic control (HbA1c < 7) and onset or progression of complication was detected. Only few individuals achieve glycemic control.
Objective: To estimate the glycemic control among diabetic children attending tertiary center.
Methods: All diabetic children registered in the diabetic consultancy clinic in Children Welfare Teaching hospital (298) were included in the study. Case records were reviewed and information on demography, weight and height, age at diagnosis and HbA1c was requested.

The aim of this study is to detect the level of psychological stress among unemployed individuals and the level of their wellbeing by finding the correlation between these two variables.

          The research sample consisted of (99) people who are currently unemployed and registered at the Ministry of Labor Affairs.

Schafer (1996) scale for psychological stress was used and alongside Ziout's (2012) scale for wellbeing.

Mauddud Formation (Albian stage-the Early Cretaceous) is an important oil reservoir in Ratawi field of southern Iraq. Four wells, R T-2, R T-3, R T-6, and R T-7, located 70 km northwest of Basra, were selected to study microfacies properties and petrophysical associations with the probability of oil production. Seventy-seven core samples are collected, and thin sections for petrographic analysis. The self-potential, Gamma-ray, resistivity, and porosity logs are used to determine the top and bottom of the Mauddud Formation.      The evaluation of the Nfayil limestones in Bahr Al-Najaf Depression as construction materials was done on 15 sites distributed over a region. The study included field and laboratory aspects. The field side included collecting information about the study area and samples. As for the laboratory side, laboratory tests were conducted to study the thermal conductivity of samples by a device called Lee’s disc in the Tikri University. The thermal conductivity results ranged between 2.34 and 0.27. The rocks are of high thermal insulation at low temperatures and low insulation at high temperatures according to the specifications of the suitability of limestone for thermal conductivity standards (ASTM C 1057-03-2010).
