The current research illustrates experimentally the effect of series and parallel connection (Z-I Configurations) of flat plate water solar collectors array on the thermal performance of closed loop solar heating system. The study includes the effect of changing the water flow rate on the thermal efficiency. The results show that, the collector's efficiency in series connection is higher than the parallel connection within flow rate level less than (100) ℓ/hr. The kinetics of nickel removal from aqueous solutions using a bio-electrochemical reactor with a packed bed rotating cylinder cathode was investigated. The effects of applied voltage, initial nickel concentration, the rotation speed of the cathode, and pH on the reaction rate constant (k) were studied. The results showed that the cathodic deposition occurred under mass transfer control for all values of the applied voltage used in this research. Accordingly, the relationship between concentration and time can be represented by a first-order equation. Materials and Methods Bacterial strains P. aeruginosa was obtained from postgraduate students Laboratories of Biology Department/College of Science/University of Baghdad. That previously isolated from patient suffering from Cystic Fibrosis. API 20 NE system was employed for the identification of P. aeruginosa. A total of 122 urine specimens were collected in the period between of mid of July until to the mid of September of 2010 from AL-Kadhmiya Teaching Hospital in Baghdad City.
